Let's take a moment to brag: There's an on-line magazine called "Persephone Magazine" that picked one of my Raising Hope stories and commented on it! I was thoroughly excited to read that and if it doesn't get me in trouble, I'll add the quote: The Secret, Wonderful World Of Fanfic There’s a topic which I’ve seen popping up here and there in our comments recently, and that topic is fanfic. I believe fanfic is an under-appreciated art form, and I think we should change all of that right here and now. It’s time for those of us that love to curl up with our computer mice and a saucy story about Booth and Bones actually doing it to stand up and proudly declare our love. For those of you who aren’t in the know, there are fans of almost every type of entertainment we could brainstorm who like to spin their love of a television show, a movie, a video game or a book into something creative. As the Internet has grown, so has the number of treasure troves of fan-created awesomeness. Writers, often really good writers, create something called fanfic, and if you’ve never read any, you’re missing out. Because I love you so much, Persephoneers, I went on a journey through our archives, LiveJournal and fanfic.net to find at least one great example of what fanfic writers can do for many of the shows we recap here. Revolution: OMG!!! The best new"what if" show on television!!!! Great suspense mystery, how will they survive? Will they survive? What happens when all 13 necklaces are back together? How does anyone from another continent make contact with what's left of North America? IT'S BACK AND IT'S BRILLIANT!!! I enjoy Raising Hope, Leverage, Glee, Falling Skies, Tosh 2.0, Stargate-Universe, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Sons of Anarchy, Revolutions, The Americans and any movie with a Cinderella theme. Falling Skies: I'm shipping Tom/Dr. Glass and Lourdes/Jamil because they are so damn cute!!! This is a great series and I look forward to every Sunday night for my scifi entertainment with a touch of romance. Okay so they killed Jamil dammit - I might make a love interest for Captain Weaver...hmmm... Sons of Anarchy: Season Five coming back in September!!! I'm shipping Gemma/Tig this season!!! That 70's Show: Jackie B & Eric F - I love this pair, the possibilities are endless story wise. I have many favorite authors on this site and it is my go-to bookmark. Raising Hope: I hope that Jimmy and Sabrina hook up - they are the cutest couple and the baby is adorable! THEY DID AND IT'S SWEET Glee: I am a die hard Sam/Mercedes shipper but with Mercedes graduating I don't know what to do!!! Leverage: Christian Kane (Eliot) can come to my house anytime he wants! Lost: Love Sawyer but alas, I think he's going to die. The show finale is Sunday May 23 and it will forever be over :( Suliet prevails! I still watch the repeats and love it all over again Eureka : Last season (sad) Finally glad that Allison and Sheriff Carter "eloped" Happiness and only positive thoughts to ya'll I would like to add a special "THANK YOU!" to all my regular reader/reviewers.
