| Katherine Loving |
Author has written 1 story for Witchblade. Who I Am: My name is Katherine Loving (just call me Kat), and I absolutely, positively, love to write. I'm 28 years old (gah! where did all the time go?), work for a large, family-oriented ice show (that means I travel a lot), and I try to write as much as I can, but because I work so much, my muse has a tendancy to be tempermental (blame it on the traveling if you like). I am NOT reworking "Settling Old Debts"! I am, actually, debating if I should pull it or not. I've lost the vein of the story, and even re-reading it doesn't help. I previously pulled my "King Arthur" fanfic due to lack of solid plot (no, Lancelot isn't always the end all and be all of plots), but I'm trying to rework it, so you might see it up here soon. P.S. I'm not reworking my King Arthur story. I have abandoned the plot, and am just trying to figure out what the hell my muse DOES want me to write! Stories on Fanfiction.net I Love: "Social Obligations" by Clever Lass (Labyrinth) "Sweet Revenge" by Tatiana3 (A Knight's Tale) "May You Rescue Wretched Beings" by Tripetta (The Replacement Killers) "Going Home" by RiotAct (Newsies) and, a new one that I fell in love with "Waiting In The Wings" by KristyK. (King Arthur) Stories I Love: The Dark Scorcerer Trilogy by Tamora Pierce. She writes the most amazing female characters. It's in the youth fiction section, but that stuff is better than what I had when I was young. I was stuck with Babysitter's Club (blah), and some other horrible stuff. "Dreamcatcher", "The Green Mile", "The Stand", "Four Past Midnight", and "Kingdom Hospital" by Stephen King. Anything by Clive Barker! I highly reccomend his Abarat series. Not as graphic as his other work, but richly written all the same. Oh, I'm also horribly addicted to trashy romance novels. Although, please, keep the over-written werewolfs, vampires (FUCK TWILIGHT!), and other mythical creatures away from me. If you have an original, go with it. If not, for fuck's sake, leave it alone! Laugh, For Goddess's Sake! "Ah, this is obviously some usage of the word 'safe' that I wasn't previously aware of." - Douglas Adams "I love deadlines. I love the whoosing sound they make as they fly by." - Douglas Adams Droolie: (noun) What goes into your computer keyboard when you doze with your head against your screen. "If you can't beat them, arrange to have them beaten." - George Carlin "I rely on my personality for birth control" - Liz Winston "Hitch your wagon to a star." - Ralph Waldo Emerson "If you can't make a mistake, you can't make anything." - Marva Collins "Not a shred of evidence exsists in favor of the idea that life is serious." - Brendan Gill "If we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane." - Jimmy Buffet And last, but not least, here's an amusing thought... "Ford, you're turning into a penguin. Stop it." from Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. | |||||||
