Author has written 68 stories for Star Trek: 2009, One Piece, Gurren Lagann, Death Note, Prince of Tennis, D.Gray-Man, Invader Zim, Kingdom Hearts, Kuroshitsuji, Merlin, Inception, and Thor. Hallo! I am Verg, an artist and sometime fanfiction writer. I enjoy reading and drawing immensely and devote as much of my time to these interests as I can given the realities of my college life. I tend to become obsessed with fandoms as they come to me, then leave them for the next shiny thing when the fervor has died down, though I have warm, fuzzy feelings left in my heart for each one. You can find me on LJ as towel_master, and on DA and AO3 as VergofTowels. --a-- A Public Service Announcement I'm going to put up this message to try and head off some (probably righteous) PMs: It is unlikely that I will get around to finishing incomplete works on here, especially the stuff I wrote for Star Trek. I know, it's irresponsible and annoying, but I write fanfiction because I want to, and when I don't want to write something any more, I stop. Heatsink, my most popular story on here, hasn't updated in three years. It is likely to remain as it is. I left the Star Trek fandom when I got sucked into Inception, and I don't know how good the upcoming movie will be at drawing me back in. If it does, hey, maybe I'll get some inspiration, but I'm not making - cannot make - any promises for new content. Also, I'd like to think my writing has improved somewhat since those days, and it's a little hard to go back and see what I was proud of back then in current lighting... Another thing to keep in mind is that as I inevitably grow older, my priorities are changing (much as I wish they wouldn't). I don't have as much time for fic anymore, and I'm often burned out on my schoolwork and can't find the motivation to write anything sustained. I also have concerns about finding work and all that other adult nonsense that we all have to face, and frankly, the last thing I'm thinking about most of the time is whether I want to update a story I lost interest in three years ago. I do appreciate the (polite) requests that I update, since I know it means you're enjoying what I wrote, but to be completely honest, I read them, feel a bit guilty, and move on. There are better authors than me out there, many of them. I humbly suggest you go search for more content rather than letting me know what I already know, which is that I shouldn't post things that aren't complete.
