Not a writer, just enjoy reading Twilight fanfic (the sexier the better)...yep, I'm a lurker.

I live in upstate South Carolina; no kids (three cats is as maternal as I can handle); I am 43 and very happily married to my best friend. He has no understanding of my Twilight obsession - to him, it's on par with other adolescent fads like Justin Bieber, High School Musical, Hannah Montana. He refuses to believe there are lots of other women out there JUST LIKE ME. Honestly, if he liked any of the Twilight stuff he would NOT be the same man I married, so it's fine.

I read the first three books in three days in July 2008. I honestly can't remember what I did on a daily basis before those three days! I look for pictures of Rob online EVERY SINGLE DAY and I have re-read the books so many times (and now, some of my favorite fanfics) I can recite dialogue. Yeah, sad.

I will list some favorites...what I read, listen to, and watch probably describes me better than anything I could write.

BOOKS: The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon (Edward Cullen just barely falls behind Jamie Fraser), The Skystone series by Jack Whyte, Jodi Picoult, Bill Bryson, Jen Lancaster (love her love her love her), the Sookie Stackhouse books (although the HBO show is even better, in my opinion).

MUSIC: Annnnnd here's where we go schizo...U2, John Mayer (I love him like it's my job), Kid Rock, Metallica, James Taylor, Alice in Chains, Moby, Duran Duran, Clannad, Frank Sinatra, Incubus, Godsmack, Daughtry, Jackyl (they used to be friends of mine; they are from my hometown), Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, D'Angelo, Bonnie Raitt, some hip-hop like Ludacris, Akon, Black-Eyed Peas, Nelly, Neyo. One of my favorite CDs is the soundtrack to Dances with Wolves. I know, I'm weird.

TV/MOVIES: Justified, Sons of Anarchy, True Blood, Vampire Diaries (I really did NOT think I would like it!!), LOST (and no I don't get all trembly about Sawyer), Modern Family, Ellen DeGeneres talk show, Game of Thrones. My two favorite movies of all time are Dances with Wolves and The Lion King (I am also a Disney freak but that's for another profile). 300, Braveheart, Gladiator, Dracula, The Last of the Mohicans, 40 Year Old Virgin, The Hangover, The Breakfast Club, Pride and Prejudice, Urban Cowboy (shut up, I love it and I don't know why). I am a total movie buff, so I own a LOT of DVDs. Not a fan of scary movies, though.
