Author has written 35 stories for Daria, Witchblade, House, M.D., In Plain Sight, and Harry Potter. I write fan fiction for shows that somehow capture my imagination in a way where I feel the need to entertain myself further. Compelling characters, a compelling universe, and stories that stop just short of some indefinable something capture me. For many years fan fiction has been a not-so-secret shame of mine; I do sometimes compare us all to the creepy guys that lurk in 24 hour porn shops at 3 am. Sometimes we project fantasies onto the things we find wonderful that we've just got no right to. But that's a human thing to do, I guess, and so we do it. Thus here I am, writing fan fiction. I do write for the real world, and that includes original fiction and non-fiction. Some of you might have read my nonfiction elsewhere. I also blog, design perfume and really love both British and US television. I am a rabid fan of Doctor Who and Daria. Doctor Who is, for the most part, sacred text to me. I won't write for it and I won't change it. I'm also loving In Plain Sight, Leverage, Being Human, Dexter and scores of others. I admit that television is my drug of choice. | |||||
