Hello! I'm Kurokiku, and I'm new to the world of fanfiction. I started writing my first fanfic as a way to overcome writer's block, but I find myself doing it for fun now. I sincerely hope that others will read and enjoy my stories, as well as offer lots of feedback, since that's the best way to improve as a writer of anything!

Updates are taking a while lately... Probably because of all the schoolwork that is consuming my life. I have to declare my majors soon, plus I'm planning on studying in Japan in a year or so. More red tape. Sigh. Thanks to those who haven't abandoned me yet.

Update (10/12/09): I have reached a point where I can see the plot of Barriers through to the end. As such, I am now taking suggestions for my next fanfic, which I imagine I will publish around early to mid-December. Fandoms include: Avatar, Teen Titans, Harry Potter, InuYasha, Final Fantasy XII, Ruroni Kenshin, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Blood Plus, Trinity Blood, and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. I'd like to work with canon characters this time 'round, so suggest your favorite/an interesting pair and I'll supply the plot. If you are inclined to respond, shoot me a message, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Update (11/13/09): So I'm super-busy at the moment, what with the play that I'm helping to stage manage being in production week and all, so you may not hear anything out of me for a couple weeks here. I am not abandoning either of my stories, but they are on a VERY SHORT hiatus. Please continue to read them when I get back to updating regularly. Much love to all my readers and reviewers. You guys make my day.

(12/10/09) So as you may have guessed, the short hiatus is over. With a caveat: it is Hell Week at my college at the moment, which means that next week is finals. So if I don't get updates out quite on time, I apologize in advance. Oh, and once Barriers is done, I've decided I'm writing a FFXII Balthier/Ashe story. Which means that, as usual, I won't have that many readers. Sigh. Oh well. My readers are all freaking awesome, so I don't care! .
