Hiya. The name's the-new-black and the game's...well, frankly, I haven't dreamed up anything cool enough that I actually do to say there. So, how about we play a round of Stuff You Didn't Need to Know But Can Learn Because I Am Bored? You want to? I shall indulge. Name: Already covered that, didn't we? Hobbies: reading, sleeping, procrastinating, writing(usually during procrastination when I feel I need to do something I'm not praticularly good at-sadly, my only real skill at writing comes out while writing essays), school(ugh), eventually doing whatever I'm procrastinating about(Always work. What else would you put off doing, anyway?) Likes: Books, music, my iPod, friends, relaxing, everything having to do with frog but actual frogs, history, life science, art, sleeping, not sleeping (I get a weird energy rush late at night), paint, drawing with pens, things that are a waste of time, fanfiction, chocolate, sushi, educational television, my dog, my family, computers, movies, tape, making gingerbread houses Dislikes: Smoking, drugs, the work part of school, my family (we have a love/hate relationship), peer pressure, my dog's whine, not having tape, index cards, deep ocean Favorite Food: Sushi I hop around forums, but I mainly stay in Harry Potter, as it's large enough to kept me occupied; in fact, I could probably lose myself in there. So about that stuff, here are some handy bullet points: -I hate Dumbedore. After fanfiction, I can't help it. -I have always been kind of fascinated with Voldemort in the kind way that during a really scary movie you cover your eyes but peek through your fingers. In a morbidly curious way. -I don't read Marauder Era unless there is no romance. That also includes Lily/James. -I don't read most stories where Harry likes Dumbles. -I actually like non-romance better unless it's really good. -I have really exacting standards on spelling and words usage. I tolerate a few misspellings, or 'your' and 'you're' a few times, as there is really no way to avoid it. I don't really care too much about grammar. -Why do they even bother keeping a log of animagus forms? I mean, if one can get around them when they're freaking 15(or around), why even bother? Not only that, but wouldn't it be a benefit to your police corps if nobody knew what their animagus form was? Better yet, why can anyone read it? If anyone can read it, you might as well not keep one, because almost any possible advantages are voided except for being able to say you can do it. How do they even enforce people who are an illegal animagus? If you are 15 and just don't bother to register, than they can't regulate it. As I thought was common knowledge, you shouldn't make laws you can't enforce. -If anyone would like to recommend a good story or author, that would be great. -How are the Golden Trio still friends? Lifelong friendships happen, but it's kind of rare. If you don't see someone all summer, you can't expect to see the same person at school. Especially during the teen years people are always changing. I know from personal experience. I didn't see a friend all summer and when we went back to school she wasn't the same person. Just like that, we weren't good friends anymore- it happens. | |||||
