I suppose it's high time I updated this profile, if there's anyone who even really reads these things anyway. :)

Looking back over the dates of my first published stories, I can't believe I first started writing Turtle fanfic when I was only 15. It's really evident in my shorts, but I forget I was that young when I first began to write Her.

I've always loved to write, and was making up fandom related stories in my head before I even knew it had a name. My RL is active and leaves little time for hobbies, but I feel blessed to have been able to pursue a career I love. I am a piano performance major at the North Carolina School of the Arts, and am going to be a junior in the fall.

I'm not gonna lie--that scares me a little bit, heh heh.

I have pieces of all the turtles in me, but I am most like Donatello, aside from his obsession with science and fixing things. lol. I have some of Raphael's weaknesses, accentuated most when I'm around my brother, even though I love him to death. In the middle of our teenage years, I thought our relationship was a bit like Raph's and Leo's, just not as extreme.

This is probably why I love writing Leo and Raph together (purely platonic, mind you, lol), and because of my penchant for angst Raph is my favorite turtle. When I'm feeling humorous I write about Mikey, and because I see the most of myself in Don I struggle with him since it's always been hard for me to talk about myself.

The TMNT community is a truly fabulous one, and it's been wonderful getting reacquainted with old friends and meeting new ones. Thank you SO much to everyone for your support, gentle and not-so-gentle prodding for updates, and the occasional death threat. hee.

Her WILL be finished with a sequel to follow, and I hope it's going to be worth the wait, especially for those of you who have been waiting years!
