Ok, well I have to confess I have found a rekindled enthusiasm for pokemon, so I might be working on pokefics for a while. Don't worry, I don't plan on abandoning DP. I simply have a fresh well of ideas to tap for a new type of fic. (Namely, Pokemon)

If I go on about Mew a little bit in new fics, that's because of how I view him. A.K.A. The Most Powerful Being in Existence. I know most people think that's Arceus. But I disagree. Mew is supposed to be the ancestor of all pokemon, right? Well, that includes Arceus, by definition. And as Mew can be any and every pokemon there is, and use all their abilities, regardless of his current form... Well, I think he'd thrash anyone in a fight if he really wanted to. But, he's playful. Looks like the pokemon world's lucky.

DP Pairings:

D/S I just reckon they match really well. Danny's cluelessness and Sam's sarcasticness offset each other about as well as one could get them to.

T/J Intelligent people unite!

Pokemon Pairings:

Well, what to say. Admittedly, I haven't seen every single episode, so I quite possibly don't know about quite a few pairings.

Ash/Dawn They seem very supportive of each other, not to mention they actually get along with each other. They can last more than half an hour without trying to murder each other.

Actually, let's just say that he fits reasonably well with all three of his female travel companions so far. I don't really have a favourite Ash ship.

Most Legendary Pairings. (Well written ones that is. See below complaint about writing quality)

Types of fics I don't like:

Ones where Sam goes completely emo. I don't have anything against emos. One of my friends is practically an emo. I just don't think Sam would go emo. In fact, I think she's only goth as a sort of statement of uniqueness, rather than actually really feeling like that all the time.

Ones where completely straight characters suddenly turn gay. Again, I don't really have anything against gayness. If that's what floats your boat... Who am I to judge? But inflicting gayness on defenceless characters who are proven to be straight in their original source is just... wrong.

Ones where the writing is completely pathetic. Seriously. If you're going to write a fic, at least TRY to make the ATTEMPT to DO IT WELL! Sorry about the bold and italic, but it's just something that really riles me up.

Types of Fics I like:

Ones where Danny's halfa secret is revealed, and he actually manages to cope with his resultant life really well, and where it's not all smooth sailing, complications happen. A perfect example of this A Secret Uncovered by Darth Frodo.

Ones where Sam or Danny are new to the town the other lives in. I really like how they end up meeting and falling for each other, in most of these fics.

And heaps of others. These are just two types. There's more... Too many.
