Author has written 8 stories for Metal Gear, and Tenchi Muyo.

Advertisements : Are there simply too many bad Slayers fan fics out there? Yes. Yes, there are. Do yourself a favor and check out Cracked! A Broken Mirror Still Reflects! It's better than anything else in the Slayers fandom.

Can you mix Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy X together? You can try. Otasnake certainly did when he wrote Tactical Fantasy Action : Metal Gear Spira. When I first discovered the story, I felt it could be better with a few enhancements so I took it upon myself to remix the story for him. That's right, it was all me for the most part contrary to popular belief. It was a good experience. Check it out if you find my own work acceptable.

ShadowKira enjoyed No Need For Discipline so much that she drew a scene from it. Now that's 1080p.

Have I given you plenty of laughs with my Metal Gear series? Did you find it funny when Washu put the shock collar on Ryoko? Were you moved by Rikku's attempts to befriend Snake? Were you at least entertained enough to finish something I've written on this site and leave without a bad taste in your mouth? Regardless of your answer, please give my original fiction a gander. Fiction is more important than fan fiction.

Check out my sisters gallery. It would be a lot more awesome and a lot more dark if she would actually draw what I told her to draw, but she's far too busy with other projects and never gets around to doing anything she puts off. Ever.

Do you know your memes?

Currently : I bet many of you never could have guessed this, but I'm currently working on my next Metal Gear Solid fan fiction. Those who have not read all of the other stories in the series may have a harder time enjoying it if they are not willing to make it past the beginning. It will probably not be as long as Ghosts of the Past. This will probably be the last story I do for this series if not forever than for a very long while. Before I publish it, I will make one more run through all of the other stories to ensure absolute continuity.

Once upon a time, I could get by without an outline. All I needed was a beginning, a middle and an end. A bunch of scenes I wanted to have at certain points was nice, too. It was like making a smoothie and the blender was the creative process. That is no longer the case. I require more structure to keep myself focused. With that in mind, I produced an outline for what is left of the Metal Gear story. It only took a few hours. I believe the story is halfway done. I'm afraid it might take until May to finish. If it does, I will have worked on it for a year. Oh, well. Writing is something I enjoy and I'm having fun with it even though my work tends to go unnoticed. It's something to do. I do wish I could figure out how to do it faster, though. Outlines destroy writer's block, but they don't speed the process up.

I have aligned all but two of the previous stories to coincide with this release through inconsequential content edits. As I have mentioned before, you can expect a lot more action and a lot more of the characters being cruel to each other. Take any of the humor in the previous stories and multiply it by two and set your expectations around your individualized result and you should have a basic idea of what to expect. I wish I could say more, but I'm superstitious. However, I can say this. The last story is NOT a direct parody of Metal Gear Solid 4. It is NOT an alternate take on Metal Gear Solid 4. It is a CONCLUSION to the previous stories in the alternate universe that has been established within them and it takes place less than a week after Ghosts of the Past.

An original fiction idea with an outline from start to finish is currently in the waiting room. My next big project here will hopefully be my last as I seek to shift my focus toward original fiction. I'd like to go back to writing for myself instead of feeling the pressure of an audience, but I don't think that's possible. I'll still write here, but I don't want to waste all of my energy on fan fiction. I should have spent my years in high school learning Flash instead of building narrative. Things would be different if I could animate these idea's instead of writing them. At the very least I can steal all of my father's unpublished novels and give them the fixing they need.

I can't decide whether or not to include these last two bits. Meh. A few weeks ago I was toying around with my next big project. This was before I took outlines seriously. I was bored and I wanted to see how it would flow. I wanted to see how much I could cut my narrative down. I've learned to put recollections in their proper place, but this was besides the point. When I watered down the narrative and put most of my focus on the dialogue, I noticed that the scenes became weak. I guess I can't cut that stuff down to attract readers with short attention spans. My supervisor at the job I do my best to tolerate has put me in charge of the team newsletter. That means I get to spend time doing something I enjoy every other day for about three hours. He's read some of my stuff. The choice was obvious, or so he says. Hard to tell with that guy. I find the whole thing hilarious.

The Kiln : Many bad ideas are lost in the kiln. Good ideas come out with a fine metallic glaze. I let my ideas sit in a kiln for a few months before I actually do anything with them. During that time I usually build a plot around several specific scenes I brood over constantly. If everything checks out, I write the story. Ideally the story writes itself and usually I wind up with something completely different than what I originally set out to write, but I digress.

I have decided where I want to go after Metal Gear, but I dare not announce it yet. Not until it's at least halfway done! There are two possible projects I could work on at this point. One would be an obvious choice while the other is something I have always wanted to do. Idea Two is something I should have done way back when I first joined this place. I haven't figured out how to handle what Idea Two would take it until now. Idea One would consist of the hilarity and structure one may find in my Metal Gear stories taken to a different fandom. It would not be nearly as special as Idea Two. I enjoy playing with both, but I'm leaning towards Idea Two. Who knows? Both of them could be scrapped and only one person would be hurt besides me.

I also think I'm going to try my hand at writing a fantasy novel, but I doubt I'd post it on Fiction Press before I tried selling it. As if that will work! Still, it would be a nice challenge and the truth is that one of my first major projects was a fantasy novel. That was way back in middle school. I still have it on a floppy disc somewhere, but I digress. I may start a blog, but the chances of that happening almost negate mentioning it.

Profile : Who is Some1Else? Well, I'm a guy. That's probably painfully evident in my writing style. Every 29th of June, my age increases by +1. I have a college degree, but that doesn't make me special. I primarily write humor and horror with a touch of everything else added in. I adore rum. Aside from that, it's up to you. Feel free to make outlandish assumptions about the rest of my personality yourself. The more you blow it totally out of proportion, the better.

On Other Fanfiction / Fiction : When I'm looking for something to read on this site, I generally look at older stories that haven't been reviewed in a while. I never flame, although sometimes I insert a critical observation. There's a difference between that, constructive criticism, and being excessively violent. Be glad if I review your work. It means I've finally found something worth reading after trudging through hours of crap. I generally refrain from reading anything less than five thousand words long as decent ideas seem to be scarce in shorter stories. Sometimes my reviews sound the same because they do follow a certain structure, but they're all unique in their own way.

I also try to avoid reading whatever isn't complete. People shouldn't publish their stories until they are complete. By publishing an incomplete story and then abandoning it later on due to any number of poor excuses, the writer betrays the reader. There's nothing more annoying on this site than reading a good story only to find out it hasn't been completed and then asking the writer to produce a new chapter when that writer has lost his/her initial drive for the story months, if not years ago. People should not let reviews fuel their creativity.

Music : Some of the songs I derive entertainment from in no particular order are - Starry Sky, Sugarless Girl, Jerry, and Fruits Clipper by Capsule. Essence by Jaytech. Polyrythm by Perfume (Club Remix). Mr. Tiddles by Sasha. Strobo Nights and Triple Stupids by Miku Hatsune. Cascade by Tycho. The Lost Vikings and Murdertrain a Comin' by Dethklok. Waltz of the Flowers by Tchaikovsky. Introduction off of the Mirror's Edge OST. Do your ears hurt yet?

Additionally, I have a plethora of old video game tunes floating around in my library courtesy of Chipamp and a bunch of OC Remixes.

Games : Some of the games I derive entertainment from in no particular order are - Condemned : Criminal Origins. Super Mario 64. Half Life 2. Super Metroid. Soul Calibur II. Metal Gear Solid II. Mega Man III. Ultima VI : The False Prophet. Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball. Mahjong (four player, not tile-matching). Batman : Arkham Asylum.

Anime : Some of the anime's I derive entertainment from in no particular order are - The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (the second season is horrendous). Lucky Star. Ghost In The Shell : Stand Alone Complex (both seasons). Azumanga Daioh. Paniponi Dash. Real Bout High School. Spirited Away. Samurai Pizza Cats. Cowboy Bebop. Tenchi Universe. Excel Saga. Aria the Natural. Gurren Lagann. Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Finally, if you wish to speak with me you may. Whenever I'm online I'm either reading, writing or chatting. Sometimes I do all three at once. I enjoy a good conversation.
