Author has written 6 stories for Labyrinth, and Hellboy. Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit my profile and read my stories. Any reviews and comments are always helpful. Let me address one point some people have commented on. My technical skills in writing leave much to be desired so I use a script style for dialogue. Some Punctuation for me is a nightmare. I try my best, but I do make mistakes. I started out with a great beta-reader who was also a friend. Unfortunately for both of us, her job now prevents her from having time to be my beta. I sought another beta-reader, but had little success. At one point , I actually contemplated giving up writing entirely. Luckily my same friend suggested I give up on the punctuation and switch to a script style. I know it may limit the stories a little, but it lets me be able to write. I am sorry to say that I have no good excuse to be so bad at punctuation.( Believe it or not, I actually hold a minor in English Lit!) I am simply terrible at dialogue punctuation! If you are looking for slick or cutting edge, you are out of luck. I am a sci-fi/fantasy geek with a penchant for Romance. I am also a bit of a "Labyrinth" fiend (as if you couldn't tell) and I am an absolute sucker for happy endings. I will readily admit that I am guilty of the " Mary Sue Syndrome" when it comes to my writing. My heroines are always plucky and annoying. I write for my enjoyment, and, if I'm lucky, the enjoyment of the reader. If you want great literature, I recommend Ernest Hemingway or Margaret Mitchell. If you want great wit, I recommend Oscar Wilde. If you have insomnia, I recommend Herman Melville. But, if you are willing to be patient and stick with me, I will promise to try to entertain and pique your interest, pending the cooperation of my inspirational muse and the characters themselves. Anyway, thanks for your time and please enjoy Fanfiction. net. The Following are some of my favorite quotes from Oscar Wilde: Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes. The truth is rarely pure and never simple. A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and Always forgive your enemies - nothing annoys them so much. Anybody can write a three volume novel. It merely requires a complete ignorance of both life and literature. Here are some by my second favorite humorist, James Thurber. Don't get it right, just get it written. If I have any beliefs about immortality, it is that certain dogs I have known will go to heaven, and very, very few persons. The dog has got more fun out of Man than Man has got out of the dog, for the clearly demonstrable reason that Man is the more laughable of the two animals. | |||||||
