Author has written 3 stories for Twilight.

Hey there!

Unfortunately for your stalking pleasures, I won't be sharing my lifestory on here. What I can tell you is...

1) If you haven't already guessed, my name is Jenn. Yes, there are TWO N's in my name. Easy way to remember is "Jenn Jenn the double eNgine"
2) I live on the west coast of the USA, hidden in the forbidden forest and my backyard is the meadow.
3) I'm a stay-at-home mom to my adorable almost 4 year old.
4) My free time is usually spent one of three ways: reading, writing, or claiming that I'm doing one of the two while actually staring at a blank document or playing solitaire.
5) I'm constantly confused and everyone will know it.
6) Plot bunnies love me, like, a little too much.
7) DuhItsAngie is my Ficwife! I love her!
8) I've been an avid reader of fanfiction (for both Twilight and Harry Potter) for many years now.
9) Need a beta? Well, I'm your girl whether its just for emergencies or permanently.
10) If you're looking for motivation to get your next chapter finished, I'm a WC host for TwiFic Central. Just let me know if you'd like to join.

Let's test your stalking skills.

Ricochet
(complete)

Shortly after New Moon premiered in theatres in 2009, I stumbled across the Mentalward One-shot Contest on FanFiction.net. Though I never intended to submit an entry, the idea of Bella living with a mental illness intrigued me and consumed my thoughts. It was a while before one of my friends convinced me to finish my outline and actually begin writing Isabella’s story. Ricochet is similar to New Moon in many ways, but I feel that I have made it my own.

The one thing I love about my characters is how real they are — they each have their own flaws and weaknesses. People can relate to them on some level.

As the author, I admit that Isabella is sometimes hard to keep up with. She displays highly volatile emotions and is defensive without cause. While she can recognize that she is plagued with a feeling of emptiness, she unknowingly attempts to fill this void with food, sex, drugs, affection, etc. She is easily let down when her expectations are not met. One of Isabella’s downfalls is that she sees everything in black and white, and very rarely can she see shades of gray. And while she has difficulty with clearly perceiving situations and others, that is all she knows. All in all, Isabella struggles with wanting to be and feel “normal.”

To the best of my knowledge there are very few stories that deal with mental illnesses first hand. I believe Ricochet is unique in that a lot of it is based from personal experiences. In addition, I have put a great deal of research into this story. And while the majority of this story is told by Isabella, readers do get a few snippets from Edward’s point of view.

This is a dark and angst-filled drama with a few bits of fluff throw in (and of course, some lemons). Ricochet opens with what appears to be Isabella’s breaking point right before she hits rock bottom. It goes on to reveal all the events that eventually lead her to that point. After reading the prologue, I’d like readers to consider the possibilities of Isabella falling further and if Edward can still save her after everything.

Ricochet is a featured fic for TwiFic Central's Under the Radar.
Outtakes will be posted in due time.

The Hard Way
(work in progress)

Big surprise: ads lie. “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”? Yeah, right. Not when he shows up on my doorstep waving the ring I left behind and refuses to do the civilized thing: give me a divorce as quick as the wedding. Why can’t he make this easy?

Keep me on alert and/or follow me on twitter for more information for THW's posting schedule.
