UPDATE 3rd October 2009

Yes, I'm alive. :D

Uni life is turning out to be hectic, but exciting and fun all the same. It's a little weird having to do all the chores by myself, without anyone bugging me to get them done. I have lectures every single day, which is why I haven't really had a chance to write '24 Gurus'. Thankfully, the next few chapters have already been written which, hopefully, will keep the momentum going until I become accustomed to the work pressure. Chapter 15 should be up in the next few days. Thank you to all those who have taken the time to consider the story, and an even bigger thank you to those who’ve left reviews. They really do keep me motivated.

A special thank you to Nytd, who beta reads my comma-infested work and transforms it into something of a much higher quality. I really appreciate it.

The General Stuff

I’m quite new to writing fanfiction, but I've read an ample amount over the last couple of months.

I’m currently working on my first Pirates of the Caribbean fic, 24 Gurus. It’s going to be a long story with quite an intricate plot and a considerable number of chapters. Don't worry, the chapters will be of comfortable length. The tales of Jack's mysterious past have been interwoven with Elizabeth's upcoming adventures as pirate captain of the Empress. Obviously, Jack is involved.

Unusual storyline. Eventual Sparrabeth. Lots of adventure.

There is an OC but rest assured, she isn't a MarySue. As mentioned before, I'm new to fanfiction so I look forward to comments, support and constructive criticism. Do leave reviews – they go a long way with motivation. Seriously.
