I'm a 50something happily MWF living in the deep south, close enough to the Gulf coast to knock out electricity for weeks when a hurricaine comes through.

I work part-time as a nurse so I can have more time to read FF than most people! I have 2 indoor cats and 2 outside dogs. My kids are grown and out of the house. WheeeHooo! No empty nest syndrome here!

I used to be a quilter. That all changed on January 24th, 2009. My world twisted inside out and upside down. The addiction to TS consumed me. I continued with reading TS over and over and over and over again. For 20 times. Then in late April of this year, an article on TA website pointed me to Twilight Fanfiction and I've not looked back since. The first FF story I ever read was "Wide Awake" by angstgoddess003. Thank you, ag3 from saving me from certain insanity. She also used a desensitization technique to help me use the "F" word freely. Fuck... see? If you don't have that story favorited, please do. It's well worth the read. A couple more come to mind - "Boycotts and Barflies" plus"We're Going Where?" both by vjgm, and "Only Human" by Amethyst Jackson. There are quite a few gems in my favorite stories. Go look there. Oh yeah, bring the tissues to most of them.

Sometimes I rate my stories/chapter by how many Kleenex I have to use while reading them. It can range anywhere from 1 to 5.

1-A couple of tears escaping the corner of the eye.

2-A lot of sighing along with a small shower of tears.

3-A few sobs while the tears roll down the cheeks or tears of happiness or laughing so hard I'm crying.

4-Sobbing loudly amid gasps with a free fall of copious tears down the cheeks, off the end of the nose, dribbling down the neck.

5-Uncontrollable ripping sobs with the requisite waterfall of tears.

I am obsessed with all characters in the Cullen family. Canon pairings nearly all the time. Likewise, am obsessed with the actors portraying those characters. That said, here goes- I believe Mr. Pattinson and Miss Stewart have found that they belong together, yes, like soulmates. No matter what the rest of the universe says, they BELONG with each other. We NEED to back off and let them live their lives. I'm hoping that they will make it through the maelstrom of this insane Twilight fandom stronger in their love for each other. I wish them every happiness, grace, love and peace in the world.
