Tolkien (the greatest!!), Jane Austen, Edgar Allan Poe, and Charles Dickens. For those of you wondering, I really DO like Harry Potter, but I haven't quite forgiven J.K. Rowling for killing off Snape yet. :( Favorite Characters: Han Solo and Darth Vader (Star Wars), Spock and Dr. McCoy (Star Trek), Legolas and Thranduil (Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit), Colonel Brandon (Sense and Sensibility), Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy [for some reason...] (Harry Potter), Zuko and Iroh (Avatar: Last Air Bender), Germany and Prussia, Russia and America (Axis Powers: Hetalia). Favorite Pairings: Germancest, RussiAmerica, Snape/Lily, Draco/Ginny, and Zutara. (Germano is also sort of cute :3 ...there needs to be more of it) I'm very loyal to these and pretty much don't like these characters with anyone else unless the story is written well and convinces me that they make a good couple with some other character, otherwise I think these couples are the best and more entertaining to me ... You can see I like rough, complicated romance . Music: So, my passion in terms of music has to be classical, folk, Celtic, old country, bluegrass, and classical rock. I'm seriously not in to new music. There are a few good songs that come out now and again, but not many. Though I have recently gotten into the German singer Unheilig. He's got a lovely voice~ I seriously doubt anyone would want to steal my ipod, though. It's full of Bach and Shostakovich a ton of soundtracks...you could say I'm pretty much the epitome of cool. . Likes: I love history, for those of you wondering, especially German/Prussian and Russian history. German history is just way confusing, and I like to try and piece it all together. My family all comes from Germany/Prussia, so it's fun to see what was going on at the time my family left there. And Russian history...it's just so sad that it draws me in. They're both very interesting, really. I would totally move to Germany right now if I could though. That would be awesome! XD Actually, I would travel just about anywhere if I could~ I also am very fond of tea...I don't know why. And I happen to love animals. Though I can't have all of my dog, rabbit, horse, or any of my other farm critters with me while I'm up at school, at least I have my cat, Viktor.~ I also like running around outside in the woods and doing all kinds of stupid stunts, especially when there's a good chance I might come out unharmed. :P I also like swimming a whole lot, and used to teach it until they closed the pool, so now I'm forced to tutor people in English and history...Don't know why you'd want to know that, but there you go. Dislikes: It absolutely irks me when people are writing about World War I or II and use the numbers, like WW2 or World War 2. When writing about the World Wars it is proper to write the Roman Numerals, not the actual numbers. I literally scowl and cringe when I see this done incorrectly. I really have no idea why it bothers me so much, it just does. I also dislike people that are pretty narrow minded, especially when it comes to history. You NEED to look at the context in which set up the events or else you miss so much! You can't just say a person or event was outright evil (even if evil came of it) because you need to look at the other side of the story before going and proclaiming your opinions on the matter. These are just a few dislikes of mine that you might want to keep in mind when reading my things...well, one's more like a pet peeve, but the other is important.
