So... Was it worth the visit?

About me: I'm a guy, I live in Ireland, I'm studying architecture, the name 'Varanus' is from the genus of monitor lizard (hence the avatar), but the most important thing I can say about myself? My hobby.

My hobby is stories.

I know. Vague, huh? Basically, it stretches from experiencing them in the form of books, films, anime and (especially) video games, to actually telling stories of my own. I like to tell tales, come up with ideas and craft them into stories.

Only, I tend to have a lot of ideas and not really do much about them.

Fanfiction seemed like a good place to build up some experience. I'm not concerned with making a name for myself or getting tons of reviews (not that I don't want them, of course!) I just feel like I have a lot of ideas- some good, some bad, some that deserve to be told.

Fail to the King! is one such story. Based on what I thought could occur after the Almaz Ending of Disgaea 3, I've been using it as a springboard for my ideas and as training wheels for character development and world building. At first, I was just testing the waters with it, but my initial concept quickly ballooned into something crazy and awesome and took me along for the ride. Hopefully it'll do the same for you! Disgaea is a pretty small fandom, so if you read and enjoyed this first tale of mine, drop me a line to let me know how I'm doing.

Reaching the... Understanding is another idea I had, based on my impressions of playing Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. Yeah, it's a total crack fic, but I like to think it's the kind of humorous story that keeps everyone relatively in-character. I don't even support that OT3, but hey, when you've got an idea, you've got an idea. No lemon, I'm afraid, but plenty of innuendo and satire.

It now has a follow up story called As I Remember It, which is planned to be a full parody of the game. Read it, love it, sing its praises. That is all.

I've also beta'd and brainstormed with SamJaz on his story "Pokémon: Lelouch of the Rebellion". Yeah, you read that right. It's complete now, with a sequel in the works in the future, so if you like Code Geass, or Pokémon, or just undiluted awesome, check it out, because Lelouch Vi Brittania commands you!
