Author has written 13 stories for Beauty and the Beast, Fried Green Tomatoes, Conspirator, 2011, Pitch Perfect, and Disney. Hi, my penname is Civilwarrose, because my favorite time period for historical fiction is the American Civil War, although I love all historical fiction. Besides that, I enjoy reading fantasies, romances, spiritual stories, poetry, and fanfiction. My favorite fan fiction is that of Disney movies, especially Beauty and the Beast and the other "princess" animated films, and Harry Potter (although I admit I am not as into HP as much as I was years ago.) I read and review whatever I find here that is well written and piques my interest. I'm a mom of 3 who's probably a little older than the typical fan fiction writer on this site. I am a special ed teacher aide, and besides writing, my hobbies include nature photography and caring for our 6 pets. Writing has always been my favorite pasttime, though! I love fanfic because of the curiosity I always have about characters and what could happen to them after the story is over, and their backstories as well. It is great to find like-minded people in fandoms who love the same stories and characters. My favorite fandom for the last few years has been Disney's Beauty and the Beast. I have now written a total of 6 connected BatB stories, and since they are a series, here they are in chronological order. But they don't HAVE to be read in that order, I tried to make sure each one is fine standing on its own. 1. Little Town (opening chapter is concurrent with the very end of the movie) 2. The New Order in the Castle 3. Five Days in Paris (which takes place during The New Order, deleted scenes) 4. A Disenchanted Christmas 5. Valentine's Vignettes (scenes in this take place at various times) 6. A Royal Holiday, Part Trois Note: A few readers had asked if I was going to write more on Belle and Prince Adam as far as sequels, their children, more holiday stories, etc. I don't have anything in mind as of now. I am thinking it would be best to take a break from fanfic writing for a while, and try something like original fic. But sometimes, something pops in my mind about the Beauty and the Beast characters and I just HAVE to write it! They are too wonderful characters to give up writing about entirely.
