Found twilight fanfiction when I was looking to see if anyone out there had written a good quality continuation of SM’s Midnight Sun. Imagine my surprise when I found the twilight mother load. I’ve been sucked in ever since. It eats up a sickening amount of my free time, especially now that I’ve started to write my own.

I listened to the twilight saga on audio book. Love the story, think the writing is awful. Probably wouldn’t have made it through the first book if I had actually had to read it.

I think there are a lot of authors on the site that can write circles around SM, though I don't consider myself one of them, I love getting to read their work. My imagination is lazy enough that it appreciates not having to form attachments to new characters every time I start reading a new piece. Savage 7289, sleepyvalentina, and GiveUsAKiss413 are a few of my absolute favorites, the first because she spins a great story, the second two because they spin a great story and they're are outrageously talented in form. I can't wait until they publish something original so I can share it with people in my RL.

Which brings me to...

I'm still in the closet. None of my friends or family- even my boyfriend- would ever guess I was interested in anything to do with Twilight, much less spend hours reading and writing stories based on the characters. Though I occasionally let a reference slip in conversation and get a bunch of weird looks. They'd never let my live it down. Never.

I do most of my reading and writing for the site in the middle of the night.

I’m not a big fan of angst. Especially when its done well. I’m a wimp when it comes to heartfail.

For the most part I have very low tolerance for fanfics where Edward has been, or is with characters other than Bella. For me, the fact that he had never been with anyone else was the main appeal of the twilight books, take that away and it just doesn’t feel like the same characters to me. Needless to say you won’t read anything from me where Edward has been in love with, married to, or had children with, anyone before her. If you’re on the same boat, you’re safe with my stories.

That being said, Bella with other male characters doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Don’t ask me why, I wouldn’t be able to tell you. I’d read a lot more of Bella/Carlisle if the fics didn’t stick Edward with someone else in the stories too. If you read any good Bella/other character fics that leave Edward out altogether, send them my way.

My Beta is Nise7465. I got so incredibly lucky with her. She found me and volunteered to edit my extremely rough chapters. She's made TTB so much more than I could have on my own and she does it all while writing her own extremely popular Bella/Edward fics.

On there you will find Impact, which is very much worth the read. The writing is fantastic and the detail she's put into her work is something you very rarely find on this site. She knows her stuff and it makes for a fabulous story.

Impact Tragedy strikes neurologist and paraplegic Edward, but instead of finding only pain in the hospital, he meets a beauty from his past who has suffered just as much. Sometimes hurting and healing walk hand in hand, and the impact continues. : AH
