Author has written 2 stories for Left 4 Dead, and Invader Zim. A Bit About Me Well, what is there to say, really. I've always had a bit of an addictive personality, meaning I used the word "obsessed" a lot when I was a kid and bought more than a few T-shirts for properties that would last about as long as the fabric they were screened on. But, much like being a serial killer, fantasizing doesn't do it for you anymore and you have to put boots to the dirt and take action-- So I killed the majority shareholder of Viacom and now I'm chronicling my experience on the lamb in the least conspicuous public domain possible. But not really. I'm just a guy who likes to tell stories to whomever might listen. I have two part-time jobs, go to school and see movies on the weekends. I grew up in a very nautical setting in the quasi-rural Great Lakes region fishing and boating before moving to a more urban environment come those confounded tween years. I very much enjoy all aspects of the outdoors-- from hiking to climbing, camping to fishing-- and am always looking to "Prohibited" signs for adventures, football & baseball, anything to do with movies, drawing when I'm blocked, gaming, debating religion and politics, and of course, writing. To anyone who's read my stuff, you'll know my style differs a bit from most works on here, in that it's semi-professionally structured, dense as hell and generally less casual in its nature. I try to maintain a certain degree of quality, to the bolstering of my ego and the disdain of my readers. I rarely post oneshots mostly because I'm a fairly long-winded bastard who can't compress plots or estimate page counts. I draw my inspiration from several figures, including Eric Nylund, Stephen King, Tony Gilroy, Kevin Smith, Robert Brockway, Tanya Huff, Jerry Oltion, Eric Garcia, Kevin Grace and Aaron Sorkin. Y'know, to name a few. And now, the TLDR version: I write a lot and I watch a lot of movies lol What I Listen To I try to listen to pretty diverse pool but as of now I'm on a seemingly-endless binge of whatever decent alt. rock group I can sniff out. I find it increasingly hard to avoid feeling hipster but I just can't find hardly anything in the mainstream that interests me; but dammit, I try. I very much like The Killers, Green Day, Mumford & Sons, The Airborne Toxic Event, Dropkick Murphys, The Gaslight Anthem, Carbon Leaf, Lord Huron, AWOLNATION, Cage the Elephant, Imagine Dragons, The Offspring, Megadeth, The Black Keys, We Are Augustines, Jukebox the Ghost, Dispatch, Fun., Deadmau5, Shinedown, Young the Giant and just generally whatever sounds appealing. What I Play Currenlly (and happlessly) dividing my time between Halo 4, The Witcher 2, Bioshock, Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, and Sleeping Dogs. So if there hasn't been a new chapter of anything in a while, you'll have those things to blame. Because XCOM: Enemy Unknown is currently ruling my life. What's in the Works Right now, the majority of my desk time is being devoted to my Invader Zim fic, Relapse to Remission. As a general rule I try to focus on one project at a time. And sometimes I say "screw that" and do other stuff anyway. In the works as well is an Elder Scrolls story that will probably be published once I hit my half-mark hiatus for the previously-mentioned story. I've also gotten the desire to publish an Adventure Time-related thing after once I take a break from my IZ story. I've also made some interesting notes for a Fallout-themed story as well as something else having to do with Kick-Ass. I also intend to do something with Zombieland at some point. That, and I used to do this Left 4 Dead thing back in the day and I might resurrect that zombie at some point. Only time will tell... | |||||||
1. Relapse to Remission » reviewsAfter four years, the grudge is the only thing that remains unchanged. The game is different now; no "new girl" routine, no harmless mutual pranks, no "going steady" as the humans say, with social subtlety abandoned in favor of a good-old fashioned hunt. Someone must play predator and someone must act as prey, and as the tension builds, the line becomes harder to cross.
