Author has written 9 stories for Jak and Daxter. Hey, fellow FanFic writers. I love writing fan-fiction outside the internet community, so I've joined here. My name's Mika Haeli, a part arrangement of my real-life middle name and surname. I intended to write songs for other people under that name. I just like it. Heh. My lovely boyfriend is also here - I'm ashamed to say that I bully him into reading my stuff. He is my man and he is perfect in every respect, however, and the only one who doesn't mind it when I put a metaphorical gun to his head...he's marneus90 by the way, and he's a very gifted writer ^_^ I'm 19 years old, from the UK, in my first year of University and doing History & Italian (waHEEEY!), very much into crime and sci-fi (especially "Star Trek") but will read and watch almost anything...except for romantic comedies. My video-game experiences are very much limited to 6-12+ games on the Wii and the "Jak and Daxter" series and a few outdated PC games. Well, the original trilogy as I've separated "X" and divorced "The Lost Frontier" from the series. Seriously. Whenever TLF is mentioned I have to sedate my inner fangirl before she goes all Dark on me. Random: I can't write fanfiction unless I have music. I have my own playlist of Writing Music which ranges from film music to dance, country and rock. If you want the full list message me; they are specific to what I've been writing, though. The Stor(ies) So Far: The "Blood Ties" Trilogy Deny Thy Father And Refuse Thy Name: Previously known as "This Child" and largely centred around a character I have recently resurrected from when I was 12 and obsessed with the first two "J&D" games the first time round. Don't let that put you off, though...there's a lot of arse-kicking, angst and an epic adventure in it. Completed on 27th August The Fire Of Your Pernicious Rage: The sequel to "Deny Thy Father...". Is longer than its predecessor and has a LOT of...stuff in it. Cannot say any more aside from that if I'm honest. Completed on 14th October What Sorrow Craves Acquaintance At My Hand?: Subtitled "The Heart of (Jakuelynn) Mar"; sequel to "The Fire...". Officially happened and had as much angst and drama (with slivers of humour) as the last one. Completed on 12th December. O Sweet, Cast Me Not Aside: The spin off, taking place within "The Fire Of Your Pernicious Rage", Chapter Nine. Largely first person POV with a coda of third. Almost pure angst. Completed on 11th October. Many a Morning Hath He There Been Seen: The moments you breifly saw. The moments you didn't see. The moments you wouldn't have even guessed. The connections made. Basically, an indefinable amount of vignettes and one-shots taking place during, before, after or between the main trilogy. Genres range again, as does the rating. Completed on 27th April. Other Stories Like All The Nights: A very short, fluffy Jak/Keira-centred one-shot. Intentionally angst-less, Precursors know my other stories have a metric F-ton of that :P Completed on 20th September Unusual Artefacts: Oneshot humour. Inspired by my boyfriend, created by me. Apparently it's funny ^_^ Completed La mano, la testa, il cuore: First multi-chapter completely canon AU Jak II-set story. The title (which is Italian, by the way) applies to the three main characters...but who is "the hand", who is "the head" and who is "the heart"? Completed on 13th February Also, if you're bored, go and read jakxkeiraaddict's stories because they are all very good. And some of them make me laugh, "Why Jak's Afraid of Wumpbees" especially. Also, marneus90's "Haven City IM" is funny as hell too :DD By the way...I HATE SELF-INSERTS. They bring out the Dark in me. Okay, save for JKA's and Fire-Eco-Sage's self inserts, which seem to be the exception to the norm :) Opinions on MSs are out as I've never encountered a character I consider to be one YET. /random Talk to me?
