May 08th, 2007 - I'm back, after... two years of disappearance? I'm sorry to say that Nightmare Mansion will no longer be finished for, after so many years, I no longer have the grasp of the story or any idea how to continue it. Therefore, it will be left as is, discontinued. I'm very sorry for anyone who has read the story and wished for me to finish it. Unfortunately, the same goes for Shades of Blue. On the bright side of things, I plan to start a new story that already has a rough outline sketched out for it and has a much darker plot than usual pokemon stories.

Synopsis: Shadows terrorize the streets at night, known as the Black Phantoms. They came out of nowhere, haunting the dark corners between buildings and launching at their unsuspecting prey as they pass by. They live off of man-kinds life energy, latching onto their targets and sucking them dry until their target takes their last breath. Misty Waterflower works for herself, having been a target herself to the Black Phantoms, she has a one-woman team and has dedicated her time and energy on researching and experimenting on these black beings now crowding the darkness. On one fateful night, when her own research goes wrong and she is attacked by a large number of phantoms, she is unwillingly saved by the MorningSun organization and hauled to their main headquarters. Although she fights against it, she receives a bodyguard against her will to protect her. Although, as the mysteries of the Black Phantoms unravels, the line between friend and foe wavers and the loyalty of her bodyguard, the Shadow Assassin is torn between protecting an innocent young woman and following the orders of his superiors. When Darkness Falls. . . all hell is unleashed.
