Hello everyone!

I am honoured you have stumbled upon this profile page. It somehow mean you care for what you're reading, or at least, enough to wonder about the person behind.

I'm aChilean woman, born in 1980, making me 25, in casecares for that bit of information. Right now, I'm actively working on my thesis to get my Architect title. It's been 6 long years, I tell you, and I'm currently very nearly dying of fidgeting so much about it

I started writing Ranma fanfiction back when I was in my sophmore year in high school, when I realized my thought somehow seemed to flow so much better in English than Spanish, my native language, and that I wasn't afraid of people reading what I thought if it came through someone else's mind.

Why Ranma? Because it was the first animeI recognized as such. I had been exposed to anime since I was a todler, but this was the first time I met up with people, who struggled to get tapes, tapes! to watch this barely translated version of an Asian tv show that no one cared too much about. It was also the first time that I realized I prefered those crazy showsover any other typeof television.How things change. It never once occured to me that anime and fanfiction a j-rock and anything Japan related would become such a big fashion! Not that I'm complaining, but it makes me feel _old_.

Anyway, Ranma 1/2 was my first anyme obsession, but by no means my favorite show. The characters do have a special place in my heart though, and I've never felt comfortable writing about any other series. I don't know why. Maybe the Ranma 1/2 characters are just wonderfuly simple to understand, and hence, to complicate and twist.

My favorite anime would have to be, if I think really hard about it... Saint Seiya and Dragonball, absolute classics Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Beebop, Fruits Basket, Samurai Champloo, Hellsing, and Kare Kano.I also love the Gibli Studio films.

I'm also a sucker for martial arts and Asian movies in general, and movies as a whole. I have a whole lot of useles information uphere in my head, about trivia and actors and directors andsuch. I don't make a point oflearning these things, butwhen someone has a question, somehow,I know the answer

Besides anime, and movies, mymayor hobbies involve reading (duh) either fanfiction or novels. I was, of course,recentrly sucked in by the Harry Potter phenomena, and I neverwant out of it , andI'm currently slaved by it fanfiction. I also have a deep love for Anne Rice's vampires, and for Isaac Asimov novelsAnd yeah, I'm a Lord of the Rings fan too. And I've always been a huge fan of Friends.

No, Idon't like Star Trek, or Andromeda, or Babylon 5. I don't like Buffy either. And I'm nota gamer.

And I reeeeally like Keanu Reeves,Orlando Bloom andBradPitt and Draco Malfoy and Lestat.And L'arc~en~Ciel. And gay music, and slash stories. And Chinese food. And eating in general.

I guess that about sums me up.

Did I mention I'm stressed about my mayor?

About my stories: I'm currently workin on "The Chance of Change", even if it takes me forever to finish it. My process is very slow. It sort of flows with me as I continue to mature and grow up.
