My name is Emily. I'm 17 years old and a Senior in High School (Thank God!). I live in Alabama. I have one younger brother, John. I am a Christian, though probably not a very good example of one, but I'm working on that. I'm currently hoping to be accepted to Tulane, where I plan to major in some combination of creative writing/studio art/psychology.

As of right now, I am OBSESSED with Treasure Planet. It kind of came out of nowhere; I just watched the movie over the summer and then gradually I've fallen more and more in love with it... But anywho, It's a good movie. Some of my other favorite movies are pretty much anything made by Disney, Oh Brother Where Art Thou?, Harry Potter, The Princess Bride, Anastasia, 27 Dresses... there are so many more, but I don't feel like racking by brain to figure them out.

I love to read. I devour books... at least I did until school and other responsibilities started dominating my life. Ugh. Again, I don't feel like writing all my favorites, but I love the Harry Potter series, Twilight is okay, The Gemma Doyle Trilogy is pretty high up on my favs right now, Where the Red Fern Grows... etc.

I am a hopeless romantic.

I'm sure there's a whole lot more I can type about me, but I don't feel like it. I'll probably update again later.
