Author has written 15 stories for Lord of the Rings, Legend of Zelda, and Harry Potter. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, major in English Literature, read too much, and write when my mind complies. These days I only write Harry Potter fanfiction and read only Harry Potter and Stargate: SG-1. If I haven't updated a story dated from 2002/3 I never will, so you might as well give up hope. Not that anyone is still hoping. :) Stories that attempt to undo the damage from Half Blood Prince are what I call HBP-Fixit stories. This came from the Stargate SG-1 fandom when fans wrote "Meridian Fixits" to bring back Dr. Daniel Jackson. Severus' vs. Severus's I dislike when I'm reading a great fanfic and suddenly, I run into this: "... Severus'...", and it distracts and annoys me. It's not proper grammar, and it doesn't even sound right. There are not several potions professors in possession of the the same object/attribute and his name doesn't end in the "es" sound.
