Author has written 12 stories for Song Fics, Final Fantasy VIII, Slam Dunk, and Final Fantasy IX. As I am a penurious, stingy thrift with an annoying penchant for redundancy, I’ll try to keep this space short and simple. Or maybe not. Hmm... I might as well tell you that I’m of a very moody sort. Always jumping around with moods that change faster than you can say “ohmygoshbalbaswhatadilemma.” Scary, no? Gasp! Grr! Tee hee. : ) Anyway, I’m 20, and a Filipina. As what my friend project1141 wisely stated in her bio, writing is therapy for me. It’s my comfort activity, something that I do because I can. That doesn’t mean I’m a writer, only that I write. I lack the commitment to fall under my category of what being a “writer” is; what I possess is mere love for words. (Although personally, I don’t think there’s anything “mere” about love.) I’d like to think that years from now, when I’m old and gray and weary (just not senile, please), I’d still be writing phrases and stories that come out of thin air – and if my fingers are already too wobbly by then to type or scribble, then I’ll just write them on the metaphorical folds of my mind. This space here is for fun and for letting loose my inhibitions, corny and mundane though they may be. And, English not being my first language, don’t be surprised if you find my writing somewhat lacking, as I always find them to be so whenever I reread them after I’ve uploaded them here. I don’t consider myself “good,” you do the judging for yourselves, but I’d like to think that I write from the gut. Those inhibitions really come in handy, y’know. _ Being published someday, while being a pleasant possibility, isn’t the ultimate dream I’ve always envisioned for myself. That would sound really convincing if I had an ultimate, life-long dream, but I don’t. Not exactly. Instead, I have this collection of half-formed little fancies that are even more flighty than my moods. (Don’t we all?) I once aspired to be a scientist, then went on to be more specific – an astronaut, then an actress, a director, and the list goes on and on. And now I finally find myself majoring in Public Administration for my fourth (and hopefully last!) year in college. Yes, I am your resident scatterbrain. One fine example of that quality is the sheer unorganized flow of this paragraph. Convinced yet? I’m a Christian who is in love with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And surprise, surprise I have feelings. Gee. : ) The deal: you respect my beliefs and I respect yours. (Unless, of course, you prefer E.M. Forster’s claim to unbelief.) I’m not forcing my beliefs on anyone; in fact, I doubt if I even can if I actually try. The point is that only you can really change your mind. (Okie?) If you’d rather bash me anyway for no apparent reason, then go ahead. Do it for yourself if you feel like you’ve got nothing better to do, lest you go do something dangerous, like cross the street. Your choice, really. : ) Contrary to the rather large amount of mush and fluff that I put in this page, reveileb maerdyad is a pragmatist in real life (that is, 99 of the time). Sad, no? Ahem. That remaining 1 is let loose here, so I ask you to pardon all the sugar I leave lying around. : ) For myself, I find it odd that I write about things that I’ve yet to experience. Oh well. Things that I love: music, literature, rhymes, words, Shakespeare’s sonnets, Hallmark cards, art, people, humor, laughter, my little perfect moments, nature settings, videogames, techie stuff, and fluff. :) Oh, and variety. I indulge in a lot of fandoms, though I only write for FF8. For now. We’ll see. As for my ships, I pretty much prefer the conventional, seeing as those are what are familiar to me. But I am open to other pairings, and I have no problem adding, or even changing ships, when I read a story that beautifully exposes a certain pairing’s potential. The only exception to this is my being a shipper of Fox Mulder/Dana Scully from the show that had given us a frustratingly platonic friendship! - er... nine years of excellence. No amount of wind, storm, or persistent persuasion can blow this ship away. :) I’m clumsy by nature, and a klutz by choice. Go figure. This page will always be under editing. (with the exception of this bio.) As I grow up some more, expect the changes. Help me improve, please? While you’re here, I recommend that you go check out the favorites list. These authors and stories are only some of the best, but they’re infinitely far worthier than moi. Check ‘em out. So. I guess that’s it. Avast ye matey, thar be mushiness ahead! Try not to fall off the plank, ya hear? here be the originals: http://www.fictionpress.net/profile.php?userid=205855 Samantala, humayo tayo’t magpakarami:) | |||||||||||
