Greetings CIT’s and Campers! Summer is officially here! Welcome to the KeepersoftheNaughtySparkle Camp Twilight Contest! We’ve got a fun-filled summer chock full of activities just for you! As your Head Counselors we would love to hear all of your awesome summer camp stories. Write us a one-shot with a minimum of 2,000 words (15k max.) that includes any of your favorite Twilight characters away at summer camp. They can be Counselors, Counselors-in-Training or even campers. The last day of camp is August 7th – So make sure you get to the bonfire on time! Entries will be accepted until 12 a.m. PST. Camp Rules and Regulations: Must be an original one-shot – not an outtake or side-shot from a current story – and may not be continued until the contest has ended and the winners have been announced. All-Human and Alternate Universe accepted. Crossovers of any sort are welcomed - we like to see our campers visiting surrounding camps! Multiple entries are allowed. Can be rated T or M: Entries do not need to have a lemon - though we all know what happens at summer camp… If rated M, the characters engaging in smutty behavior must be of a consenting age in most states (at least 16) or counselors of adult age. 14 year olds groping each other = Freakin’ SQUICK! Slash & Crackfic welcome. Please, NO rape, cutting, pedophilia, or anything else creepy, it’s summer and we are all just here to have some fun. Collabs allowed – we like to see teamwork here at Camp Twilight. Validation? Nah – it’s summer, we’re too lazy. Enter at your own risk if you decide not to use a beta. Just remember if a story is hard to read the other campers won’t enjoy it. The only thing we will be verifying is that there is no inappropriate content and that word counts are within the set guidelines. Judging and Prizes: Public voting will begin on August 14th and close on the 20th at 12 a.m. PST to decide 1st, 2ⁿᵈ and 3rd places for overall favorite stories. Special awards will also be presented by your Head Counselors for the following categories: Best Use of a Canoe Top three overall winners (as determined by public vote) will receive a Camp Award Banner and t-shirt from the Canteen, and winners of the special category awards will receive a Camp Award banner, as well as a special summer playlist compiled by your Head Counselors! Come gather around the bonfire with us for Story Time on August 28th and find out who wins!
