Author has written 37 stories for NCIS. Hi, I'm Teegan and I'm an NCISaholic. But since rehab is for quitters, I guess I'm really just here for the GibbsFuel and doughnuts. I'm a 20something female in the US. I write exclusively for NCIS, and DiNozzo is by far my favorite character on the show, but I'd adopt any of them given the chance. I love writing Gibbs/DiNozzo, and I'm also a big Tony/Abby friendship fan. For someone who doesn't like to write ships, I had one pop up on me accidentally in my first fic, "Just tell me your name," but it really wasn't planned. Kind of like getting knocked up, I imagine; it just happened. I also wrote a slash piece—mostly just to challenge myself and see if I could do it. I read slash from time to time, but quite honestly, I'm not sure if I really see it on the show. But hey, variety is the spice of life and all that! I'm here mostly for interaction and feedback, both to give and get. "Good job" reviews are uplifting, but I'd really like to see what constructive criticism I can get. I'm currently writing a novel, and I started writing fanfic to dust off the ol' skill set. Who knew I'd fall in love? Although I guess it's not surprising considering my love affair with the English language. No wonder I got knocked up. Music is a huge part of my writing experience. I'm constantly listening to something rock or punk--at home, work, while writing, driving, eating. I even went to a concert in my dreams the other night. I've never done a songfic though, oddly. I mostly use it as a background mood-setter. I put Stone Sour's "Bother" on repeat and went to town while writing "Break." One of the saddest songs I've ever heard, but it's so beautiful. Try reading "Rough" while listening to Breaking Benjamin's "What Lies Beneath" on repeat. It makes it more fun—if you can manage not to lose your mind. I tend to write at night and into the wee hours of the morning, so please excuse (and feel free to point out) any mistakes you find.
