So. I haven't update since 2009. Yes, I know- I'm a horrible person. It's probably too late for an explanation, but for some reason the issue has been bothering me even more lately. Thus, this.
I'm not sure if I'm going to discontinue Kismet but I certainly don't want to give you guys false hope.
Here's what happened: i lost all of my documents. Which is a sad (and common) excuse, but it's the truth.
And when something like that happens, it's very hard to jump back to where you last finished.
After a year, I managed to finish chapter five and guess what? I lost it. I might have saved another document in its stead- which is the stupidest thing I could have done- but seriously, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find it.
For the next year, I tried and failed to get my muse back for the story. I pretty much lost all hope.
Then the year after that, I realized the only way I could continue was if I re-wrote the whole story because let's face it: Kismet began with no actual plot. The two reasons I didn't delete the whole thing was because it makes me sad when people still review asking for an update after three years and because the idea does have some potential.
Anyway, this note is just to show that I'm still alive. I still visit fanfiction lately (even though it's been pretty dead recently). No, I will never stop shipping Sakura with practically any guy in the Naruto-verse. And yes, I still write. I'd like to think I improved: mainly in vocabulary, grammar, punctuation and the whole she-bang. But now, I actually think before I write- about themes, characterization, foreshadowing, and other good stuff.
So before I leave, I'd like thank you guys so much for supporting Kismet. Your kind reviews were everything the thirteen-year old fangirl in me could ever hope for.
