STUFF I AM WORKING ON: (or planning)
1. RK parody of Boondock Saints! Hajime & Aoshi are fraternal twins who go on a killing spree. Chap 8 up. Ugh. I don't really like it at all.
2. Aoshi is a priest who searches for purpose in life. A woman who sits in his confessional finds herself in danger. Suddenly, life has new meaning and he likes it.
3. RK: modern day setting, high school. S/T, A/Meg. (sweatdrops) I can't help it! It sounds like so much fun!
4. An RK twist to Suicide Kings? I've got a couple chapters in the works.
5. Edits/additions to O Captain, My Captain?
6. The Killer: RK all the way!
7. Garter - A reviewer gave a good idea about the garter and bouquet catchers...also considering honeymoon, cake, first dance and bathroom.
8. Weird thoughts of Meg/Hiko and Meg/Saitou going through head...it's weird but strangely appealing...shakes head

...HAHAHAHA. YEAH RIGHT. (as of 11/17/08, stuff I am ACTUALLY working on):

1. Continuation of "Garter" series...still working on the final chapter and epilogue...and have had the prequel AND sequel planned for about two years...sad, really. Chunks written. "Honeymoon" and "How it all Began..." Story has been described by friends as "porn for the brain."

2. Saitou/Tokio non-AU piece (SHOCK). It's been a long time since I've revisited the two, but I wanted to explore the history and what it "might have been like" for them to be thrown together. In general, they fascinate me as characters and I wanted to explore their motivations. Chunks written. Mostly awkward interactions. Tokio can't figure out who her husband is and he's not hedging at all.

3. NANA - Miu/Yasu...I've a big, whopping amount of pages written, which has been sitting around for almost two years. My problem is that it is suposed to be "effortlessly sewn into the fabric of the manga story" so...as the story continues to get told, I have to modify my story to fit it. No, it does not end happily, as Yazawa clearly does not have that planned. Written like NANA is written, but with "future" Miu as the main character and voiceover of the "present," filling the role Komatsu Nana plays in the series.

4. The "kid" fic - Aoshi/Megumi. AU. I'm obsessed with pregnancy and child-rearing. If given the opportunity, I will rant about the children in my life, that for simplicity's sake, I will call "practically mine." I felt the need to explore it. Aoshi is a single father raising a little girl and meets Megumi, who works in the same building as him. They are intensely attracted to one another, but the unpredictability of raising a child and trying to find romance creates a lot of tension that perhaps even love cannot overcome. Snippets written.

...just wow. AM I FUCKING INSANE?? God, that means I had to have read a horribly obscene amount to actually WRITE that many reviews, and that's not counting the amount of shit I read and don't bother reviewing. And that's A LOT. (Can you tell this information is making me depressed?)

The past three years, I haven't even written reviews for stuff I LIKE, much less am indifferent to or dislike. Between 2005 and NOW, I wrote one review in 2007. But in reality, I haven't kept up with ffnet. I'm shocked that we have avatars (like, when did THAT happen?). I've been mostly successful at keeping away from my favorite fic fandoms, having been effectively kept busy by school, an online RK RPG, and work these past few years. I've been writing quite a bit in that time and have popped in to post stuff (mostly mediocre experiments) and popped back out again, but in actuality, the bulk of my writings haven't really seen the light of day...they're kept secret. Some eventually make it into my blog or semi-secret society...but I'm saddened that it looks like I'm just blank because that simply isn't true. My stuff is just in various states of "unfinished."

So poor Aoshi and Meg and Saitou and Tokio and Miu and Yasu just appear to be neglected. Sigh.

I'm also disheartened that having revisited some of my works (after having forgotten I wrote some of this shit), that there is a helluva lot I would edit and rewrite...but know I probably won't ever because it's not like the fics are really going to go anywhere and I already have tons of writing projects that demand my attention.

I suppose it doesn't help that for the past two years I've been toying with 100 some odd pages of script for a stupid original webcomic I'm not sure I'll ever actually launch because I'm sort of neurotic like that (nevermind that I actually am not much of an artist).

I also seem to have missplaced my notes for most of my stories. They're around...I just don't know where. Writing without my notes is like...well, I don't know what it's like, but it's a quick way to fuck up a story's "details" and I'd rather not have to retcon shit because I'm an idiot and can't stay organized.
