Author has written 1 story for Bambi.

About How I Write:

The way I see it, fanfiction can be categorized into four groups: expansion, scenarios, parody, and wish fulfillment. Expansion is an attempt by the author to provide material that tries its hardest not to conflict with canon, is well thought out and meaningful, and effectively expands upon the established canon. These tend to be the most appreciable fanfictions out there. Scenarios are born purely of the author's imagination and presumably begin as thoughts beginning with "What if", such as "What if, in that episode where Character A did X, it was Character B who did X instead? What would that lead to?" These stories are usually written for fun. Parody is that kind of tongue tongue-in-cheek stuff that's lightheartedly pokes fun at the source material. With these stories, the author must keep in mind that its best to love what he/she is parodying. Otherwise, it all comes across very mean-spirited. Of course, I still think better of writing stories like these, since when it comes to the Internet, people tend to be very sensitive toward even the most innocent, poignant, or clever parody. Wish fulfillment is the kind of fanfiction that I avoid like the plague. It basically seeks to satisfy the author's own desires, however unreasonable those may be. These typically involve original characters, especially Mary Sues, shipping, out-of-character behavior and weak justification thereof, and plotholes so big you could drive a train through them. With these categories in mind, I come up with and develop ideas that will hopefully one day be posted on this site.

Emulating Ray Bradbury, I write stories that are more character-driven than plot-driven, meaning that I try to develop the plot based on the characters, rather than the characters based on the plot. Based on the characters personalities, I determine what the characters' actions will be toward each other and in response to given situations, as well as where these actions will lead them. I find that this makes for a much more natural and readable story than deciding what the characters should do in spite of their personalities to suit the already established plot.

At this point, I'd like to personally thank my friend and fan MOTO (japanophile09 as she is known on YouTube) for her faithful reading and reviewing.

About My Predicament and How You Can Help:

Over the course of writing Changing Seasons and during my hiatus from said story, I've developed several ideas for new stories, and I have no idea which one to write next. Therefore, I've decided to post the titles and summaries of my ideas here and see which ones people like best. To make a recommendation, send me a message or an email. Be sure to put "fanfic recommendation" in the subject line. Heck, I may even right an idea of your own if you can convince me.

My ideas are as follows (by the way, the titles and summaries may change as the ideas develop):

The Tale of Monos (Greek Mythology)

Abandoned as a newborn and given a grim prophecy, Monos has lived his entire life never suspecting a greater meaning to his existence than what his fellow man has prescribed. Now, he has grown restless, and he needs to learn what he is, and more importantly, why he is. OC

Through the Eyes of the Beast (Disney's Tarzan)

Sabor had already seen the two-legged horrors. He had seen their capacity for destruction and violence. He wasn’t going to let these ones take the land he had made his own. That was why he couldn’t let this one get away. Oneshot

Son of All Evil (Disney's Sleeping Beauty)

One year has passed since the fateful day when Phillip saved Aurora from Maleficent. However, when it seems that the forces of evil are finally about to be fully driven from their kingdom, a new evil has revealed itself. He is cunning, ruthless, and powerful beyond reckoning, and he has one matter on his mind: revenge. OC

Gone 2 Concert (Left 4 Dead)

A group of friends have just heard of the upcoming Midnight Riders concert at Whispering Oaks Amusement Park, and they'll be damned if they don't get there, dead or alive. OC

Fearful Reunions (Half-Life/Portal crossover)

It's been a while since Chell left Aperture Science, but she's finally managed to adjust to life on the outside. Just when things are looking up, though, she finds herself suddenly being dragged back to the facility to find it, once again, in ruin. As it turns out, GLaDOS needs her help with something. It seems the Enrichment Center has fallen victim to an infestation.

Somepony's Got to Give (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)

When Fluttershy is sent to escort Pinkie Pie to her surprise party, she finds her friend is not quite herself. When her attempts at gentle persuasion are met with anger and ignorance, Fluttershy's frustration begins to get the better of her. Pinkie Pie may think Fluttershy "doesn't want to be her friend anymore," but Fluttershy is quite certain Pinkie Pie is "going to love her." AT

Raising the Dead (Naruto)

After hours of digging, Hidan finally escapes his underground prison. However, he soon discovers his wasn't the only grave that needs digging up. Kakuzu may be dead, but he's far from gone. AT, Not Shipping

Feel free to voice your opinion. You could even suggest alternate titles for these ideas. I am open to suggestions.
