Temporary Hiatus:

Dissidia: Blazblue - The reason for this hiatus is a lack of time to dedicate towards probably my most complex story. Stars have to literally align themselves just right to result in a new chapter. Sorry.

Potential Future Projects:

The Legend of Zelda: The Shadow of Link - The first Link of the established timeline, having been felled in Heroic combat with Demise, awakens in a strange new realm. Called upon by others in need, he proceeds to witness his successor's many triumphs from the shadows, and learns of his second great and terrible destiny.

And The Devil Cry - A Devil May Cry fanfiction. This time an alternate universe from the two already established. I felt DmC had a wonderful idea but didn't fully capitalize upon its potential. I plan on telling a similar tale, one of a Demon-controlled reality, with corruption and cruelty running rampant. Dante will be more like he was in the Anime and Devil May Cry 1, and have a backstory totally different from both DmC and DMC3. Characters from both universes will be present. You can consider this an essential rewrite of both universes into something far greater.

Author’s Insight:

I originally started writing because I wanted to construct a story about Xehanort befitting the Kingdom Hearts universe, casting him in a protagonist role. My first attempt Heartless Alchemist missed the mark, eventually I rebooted the story under the new title Heartless Academic.

My second story, Fabula Nova Crystallis Cordis is actually the product of a dream I had. The dream depicted Ventus (or Roxas, I can’t tell which), Sora and the Warrior of Light overlooking the Archylte Steppe from FFXIII.

That single fleeting image spawned that entire story. Though the overall plot is already nailed out, I left myself some flexible moments to break the mundane moments that can accompany writing.

The flashback chapters were not planned in the original idea, though their history was. What happened was I really didn’t want to write the next chapter, but I wanted to update the story. I thought I’d give it a shot and see what came out of it. Well, needless to say, I loved it so much, I stuck with it and expanded that aspect of the story.

Vincent and Laguna’s POV came out of the same thing. I thought they’d present a more… investigative perspective, one that’d compliment the main cast’s journey through the story.

Orion’s portion (added recently) isn’t like that however. He was always intended to be a late arrival to the POV scene.

I know that makes a lot of points of views to consider, but I adore all these characters and I feel they all have a story to tell, a dynamic to add and personally it adds a flavor that keeps me writing it. When it’s done, I may separate the perspectives and refine the transitioning but that’s a ways off.

Blazblue: Dissidia is probably my most complicated story. Since I’m modeling it off both Blazblue and Dissidia’s rather unique story flow, every piece has to fit together perfectly. My writing process is totally different for this story. But I assure you it’ll be amazing, it’s just definitely my most difficult piece to write.

End’s Endeavor is a REALLY old idea. I’ve been a fan of the Red Mage ever since playing FFIX for the first time, and I had the idea for it ever since seeing the ending of the original Dissidia. Watching the Warrior of Light marching to Cornelia was the moment where that game really spoke to me.

Similarly End’s Endeavor is a jump back to my roots in the same way Dissidia was a jump back to Square’s. When I first started writing I began with comedy adventure tales inspired by none other than Lucasart’s Monkey Island.
