An Inescapable Wasteland- In Progress, Starting on Chapter 4. First three chapters won't be up until they are Beta'd by miss Geeke the Freak. Go read her stuff. NAO.

Whelp. Guess who wasn't able to finish the next chapter of K.E.S.&I.? Me! Yeah, my bad you guys. I've just been struck with a double case of Writers Block and severe Plot Bunnies. Seriously, i've just had idea after idea after idea for stories that i can't work on because i've been trying to get the next chapter out. So, now i have about 3 story ideas in the planning phases and some Fallout/Doctor Who crossover sketches being worked out.

Oh, i also got this awesome idea for a Mass Effect/Doctor Who crossover that i really want someone to write (i would myself, but i have no time and i don't have the talent necessary to pull this off). So, FREE IDEA YOU GUYS, here's what it would be about: A deep-space Asari and Salarian vessel stumbles across Gallifrey and initiates First Contact. However, what they were expecting to be a young race just starting to spread out turns out to be far older than even the Asari can comprehend, the masters of Time itself. Who are these strange creatures? Why do they look so much like humans, and why do they know so much about the other races? AU for Doctor Who where the Last Great Time War never happened, AU for the ending of Mass Effect 3 where Shepard lives in the end (or it could be pre-Mass Effect, right before Shepard becomes a Spectre).

What I would like to see (but it isn't mandatory):

-The High Council calling in the Doctor to be an ambassador (since from what i've seen of the other Time Lords, they don't seem to be the most friendly with other races)

-Romana being awesome (doesn't matter which regeneration she's on).

-The Asari's reaction over finding a species that is longer lived than them (since Asari can live to be 1,000, and for Time Lords that's like nothing)

-Susan also being awesome (and adorable)

-A Salarian scientist and a Time Lord scientist discussing science (and possibly arguing over time travel)

-Paragon!Shepard being brought in as an ambassador (I would prefer Fem!Shep, but that's really up to the person who decides to write this.)

-Some of the Time Lords calling the Doctor by his Academy nickname (Theta Sigma, which, after watching RvB, just hurts my heart)

-Romana

-Some cute family bonding between the Doctor and Susan (she could be in her next regeneration or not, whatever you decide).

-Captain Jack Harkness (could have a large role in the story or could just be a passing mention. Doesn't matter.)

-No Rose (please. The fic wouldn't work with Rose being there at all. Her inclusion would just add a whole lot of unnecessary drama where there's already a lot of drama present.) Actually, widen this to no Companions. The entire fic would be much easier to write without the inclusion of Companions, since if they were there that would raise the question of when contact with that species would be made and that question shouldn't come until much later. (Again, just a suggestion.)

-Have i mentioned Romana enough yet? 'Cause i'm gonna mention her again. Romana Romana Romana.

-Doctor/Romana bonding, could be friendship or romantic, doesn't matter.

Well! That's a lot more suggestions than i thought i had, but i guess that just gives whoever decides to write this more to think about. And, really, i hope someone takes this idea. It would make for such an interesting story and urgh, i want to read something like this so badly. And remember, this is a COMPLETELY FREE IDEA, you can use it if you want.
