Hey, I'm Amanda and... Well I really enjoy reading fan fiction, a lot more than I enjoy writing it. I read fan fiction for just about anything I've ever seen or read and liked.

And a little bit about me... I not only spend countless hours reading or thinking up stories (I'm often too lazy to write) But I also spend endless hours sketching/painting/other art forms and browsing art online. I fancy a lot of fiction takes place in the past or has to do with otherworldly things. Additionally, I invest much of my time reading published books or fictionpress and such.
I am also the type to become a big fan over many things!
I'm nearly 16 years old, and I'll be driving soon. (Watch out people of the world)

My top things to read are Pirates of the Caribbean, Avengers, Naruto, and FMA. But, like I said I enjoy reading almost everything. I'm currently reading A Song of Ice and Fire (Or Game of Thrones the TV show) and I'm REALLY into it... so I'll probably end up reading a lot of that...

After Catching the Avengers (and Captain America...) I've taken a particular liking to Captain America (Even though I'm Canadian ;) So I will definitely be reading into that... and possibly be writing soon. I'm already thinking things up...

I plan on updating most of my stories... Maybe even shifted feelings one day... Which is currently really bad, I started rewriting it...

My personal Rules:

OCs

I don't mind OCs and I always think up stories with them, cause their personalities can be completely different. But honestly I prefer reading stories without OCs. First of all... I have no attachment to your character prior to reading your story... and really I came to read more of the characters I loved. And secondly, it can be really easy to create a Mary Sue without even knowing it... But sadly for all the readers out there... it's not fun to read about them...

I personally (well usually not always...) do not enjoy OC/OC romances... because... well I wanted to see more of the characters I already loved!

Reviews

I truly appreciate reviews! And although I'm not saying "You must review!" I really think it's a 'common courtesy' type thing. I in no way mind constructive criticism, I'd like all the feedback I can get. But if you like a story and would like more chapters... I think you should be submitting a thoughtful review! Alerting, or favouriting don't give me any idea of your thoughts! I put reviews on almost everything I read whether they be positive or negative! (If you can't handle my negative reviews suck it up you posted it online! Or delete it if you must... but by gods, do reply!) Either way... if you desire an update... REVIEW! Whether it be my story or someone else's it feels good to get one and it shouldn't be to difficult to write one.

Flames and Constructive Criticism

Constructive criticism is one thing, but flaming is a complete other! (For those of you who do not appreciate Constructive Criticism... I would like to remind you, that really that's the most useful feature the internet offers!) Posting a Flame is not only rude and offensive, but entirely unhelpful. If you must post a negative review at the very least give details and supply examples as to what was poorly done. That way they may possibly try to fix their writing. I mean let's face it there's some horrible writing on this site... but that could rise greatly with some help.

Example of a horrible flame:

THIS IS A PIECE OF SHIT!!! and you should completely annihilate any fics you have or plan to write!

Example of an... acceptable flame? (Or Constructive criticism?) :

I didn't really like the way you made _ say how he hated his life, I mean thats way out of character. He would never do that. And one more thing there is absolutely no reason for that OC you added, and it just annoys me...

I'm not going to lie... sometimes it's really fun to write a constructive criticism review... I like to get off my back all the horrible things my picky picky mind sees. So..I don't want to be a hypocrite and post tons of negative reviews yet not accept those sent to me. So, as long as you refrain from flaming... go ahead and post negative reviews...

Worst of the Worst and Pet Peeves

Bad grammar, and plain old bad writing are annoying but not the worst! I despise OOC characters, and Mary Sues... I am doubtlessly unkind to necessary OCs and stories by which every character is paired up (Overall unrealistic and extremely lame) and currently living our their biggest loving days. Text lingo if not in context is the absolute worst! It's like you're not even putting in any effort! I have an endless list of common annoyances... But I'll end the list here, to keep the extreme critical side of myself to me alone.

If you actually took the time to read through this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! But,if you didn't... I wrote most of this out because I really have no life and this is just what I do...
