Time once again for a profile update. I'm a 31 year old Canadian, born and raised for the first 23 years of my life in British Columbia, and now living in Pensacola, Florida. I have always been a heavy reader and even today I try to at least read two books a week if I can help it. I have always had a interest in writing, especially Science Fiction and Fantasy which are my favorite genres.

I studied multimedia in high school and college and helped form a promotions company (as an editor and designer) in the mid 90's which failed rather dramatically (never let your business partner spend all the money for a project on having promotional t-shirts made). Afterwards I sorta went downhill, partying a lot and letting any and all skills sort of slacken off greatly. After a few years at the bottom I pulled myself up and ended up working in the Film/Television industry for a few years (as security, not creative though, I was hoping to make inroads). I won't say out loud which studio and for which productions I worked. Then I fell in love with an american woman. We got married. I gave up my Career and moved to Florida so she could be closer to her family.

We separated three years ago and after a succession of relationships I have settled down again with a beautiful woman. Not only that but she has recently (April 13th) given me my first child. Which is one of the reasons I haven't written in a long while. That and moving lots and job x-fers and a huge case of writer's block. Hopefully I am slowly getting over it now.
