While I don't have a problem with that, I was just thinking about what kind of Warhammer fanfic I would like to add when an idea popped into my head, "Hey, since everybody's writing about them favorite races, why don't I think outside the box and create a totally new race from whose perspective I would mostly write and, while I'm at it, give them an awesome background story and a reason to invade the Milky Way?" Thus, the Methuselon were born

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7633398/1/Complicated_Completely_Out_of_Order -The hardest part about creating a crossover is to somehow make two completely unrelated stories fit together like sugar and sand, while making both make sense. To do that, in my opinion, one must gather as much info about the characters from both sides as possible, either by playing/reading/watching the appropriate media or by using a really good wiki if either method cannot be done. That way, the various personalities, as well as their possible reactions to meeting a strange person/people/species, can better be understood, regardless of the fact that you want to make the characters of one story the main antagonists even if they are actually heroes in their universe. Of course, adding/implying a reason for their decision to be the bad guys cannot hurt either.
