Personal Stats: I've been a member of this web site since I was fourteen years old. I wonder what that says about me? I'm a writer hoping one day to write a novel that will get published and sell well (although I am published). Until then I shall remain content with my anonymity.

About the types of fan fiction I write (and don't write):

Not for the kiddies - My writing is geared toward older teens and adults. There will/may be be cursing, sex, violence, and death. Pay very close attention to the ratings I use. More often than not, an M-rated story will have adult material in it not suitable for younger readers. I check the ratings before I post my stories and I do change them accordingly as needed. A T story can become an M story within the span of a single chapter.

I do not character bash in fic - Even if I harbor no particular fondness for a character, I refuse to allow my bias to color my writing, or use it to make a character look bad simply because I don't like him or her. I will characterize them as how they are portrayed in-canon to the best of my ability as I would with any character I like. I believe it is the hallmark of a mature writer to refrain from character bashing or avoiding mischaracterization to suit author bias.

OCs - Yes, I'm one of "those" writers. :P I do tend to write in original characters and they do have plot signficance. Sometimes they will fall in love with a canon character. Personally I have had a lot of positive feedback concerning my original characters over the years. See writer's policy to see how I respond to this.

Love is love - Although my writing preference is for heterosexual romance, I do write homosexual pairings, and only then male/male. For the latter, if the canon universe they come from does not define their relationship, I may turn it into romance. However, if two characters have a brotherly dynamic and it is stated to be a brotherly dynamic, I will not change it, even if I read more into their actions. Ex: Naruto and Sasuke. However, if it is something that is left highly to interpretaion i.e Yuugi/Atem, I will make a lot more out of it.

I'm not into that - I do not write incest. I do not write rape. I do not allow religious beliefs to dictate the content of my stories i.e. the character being the microphone for [insert religion here] unless they are of that religious belief canonically.

Story removals - I will remove several works of fan fiction due to age, lack of reviews, quality, or for reasons that are personal to me. Please do not ask for me to send these stories to you. I wanted them gone and gone I want them to stay. Eventually I do plan to delete everything.

All questions for me need to be directed through PM - I will not answer questions left in reviews because I regard reader reviews and questions for the author as separate so if you really do want an answer to your question please PM me or I will not take you seriously.

MY WRITER'S POLICY
I do not alter my stories or poetry to suit the demands or preferences of my reviewers. This includes character names, actions taken by characters, plot, sexual content, and romantic couplings. I do not "spoon feed" reviewers the answers. If you don't get it, you don't get it. Constructive criticism only or you will be ignored. Anonymous posting now disallowed due to some cowardly flamers.
