| Emmelyn Cindy Mah |
Author has written 5 stories for Spirited Away, Diablo, and Avatar: Last Airbender. I am… Emmelyn Cindy Mah Mun Cheng, but you can call me Em, Emmy, Cindy, or Mun. If you were to ask why I have two english names, I’ll simply tell you that, in a state of teenager distress several years back, I named myself ‘Emmelyn’, and has since introduced myself as that. However, I have grown attached to this name. I refuse to change it! So, I’m Emmelyn Cindy. Deal with it! People describe me as… A pretty mild-mannered person. I don’t get angry easily, but when I do, it takes all the ice in the world to cool my evil dragon temper down. I am also rather sarcastic from time to time, but that quality in me is often overpowered by my silly comments on any random topic. And yes, I do silly things from time to time, too, that gets my friends rolling on the ground laughing their blessed butts off. Also, I can be a shy, silent person. I find it difficult to open up to people that I do not know well. Don’t feel intimidated by my silence. When I clam up, it is because I don’t know what to say. When it comes to movies… The Lord of the Rings, Eragon, Troy, The Chronicles of Narnia… all these book-to-movie adaptations have me in knots all over. And, the good kind of knots, not the bad kind! You would probably have gathered that I am a fan of fantasy. Obviously, if any fantasy/historical/Elizabethan movie were to come along, I’d be among the first to bundle into the cinema, amidst squeals of delight, to watch it. With TV dramas and books… I am absolutely in love with House and Grey’s Anatomy. There are many more that I watch, mostly things like The Starter Wife, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Desperate Housewives, Heroes, Tsubasa Chronicles, and tons, tons more. I also enjoy reading numerous genres of books, many of which are literature-based. William Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde and Jane Austen are among many writers whose works I cherish and adore. Also, I've read plenty of books-turned-movies, mainly the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Eragon. And I discovered the books before the movies came out, so... yeah. My music taste is… All over the place. My playlist is, has always been, and will always be a mixture of many, many artists and songs. Currently, I love listening to Gary Jules, Hillsong United, Jaci Velasquez, Planet Shakers, Kutless, Linkin Park, Anna Nalick, Brandi Carlile, Nickelback, the All American Rejects, Green Day, U2, Take That, JoJo, The Fray, Carrie Underwood, Within Temptations, and an amazing array of talented artists and bands. I enjoy… Writing, drawing, and role-playing. I’ve written many pieces of fiction; fanfiction, as you can probably gather. And I write also original fiction, which can be found in fictionpress.net. Here's the link! Emmelyn Cindy Mah's fictionpress profile Meanwhile, my pieces of art are scattered around my blog entries, and also on DeviantArt. Here's the link! My Deviantart Account I am inspired by... Historical pieces, friends, and family around me. When I write, I find myself absorbed in a different realm. One where I am the heroine, unafraid of death and battles. I find myself surrounded by magic, in worlds and realms of sorcery and power. It's an exhilarating feeling that I cannot find enough words to describe. Often, it is this feeling that pushes me to write and draw and paint. Enjoy my work, yes? And please remember to review! Non-reviewers make me want to cry. x_x | |||||||
