Author has written 20 stories for Harry Potter, Escaflowne, Gundam Wing/AC, Fushigi Yuugi, Utena, Inuyasha, Danny Phantom, Ouran High School Host Club, Gilmore Girls, Crossing Jordan, and Castle. Greeting's and welcome to the insanity! I'm college student who enjoys taking breaks from writing papers to write . . . fanfiction? To each their own, I suppose. But I live at my computer these days, however most of the time I'm pounding the keys to finish an assignment rather than one of my stories. I would appreciate a little respect for the fact that I am first and foremost a student and thus my top priority is to do homework. I'll write when I can. And here are some vitals: Age: 24 Anyway, spending all of my spare time writing fanfiction is not a bad thing (I seem to be very popluar for some very strange and bizarre reason), I would like to have a life, but between working and doing homework (and there's a world of difference between the two) I have no life. Now that school has started again fanfiction postings will be minimal, as in whenever I can get around to posting them. Which may be days, weeks, or even months, depending on when I have time to write, etc. If you want to get to know me better I have a Dead Journal, which provides me with a very nice place to rant about how much I hate my life. By the way, if you've noticed that I have typos, it's because most of this is written late at night, when any normal person might be sleeping and I don't have a beta reader. I hope to keep updated on it. -- NOTICE -- If anyone has been wondering why I haven't been on as much recently, it is because my muse is fickle, and she likes to traipse off when I'm in the middle of something really great. I'm also applying to grad school, looking for a job, and trying to keep my husband happy (the later, BTW, is a full time job). I also tend to cycle through fandoms, meaning I'll be really caught up in something and I'll be going, going, going on it and then I'm into a new fandom. HOWEVER, I do eventually return to every single fandom (as of 3/10/09 I'm writing my first Gundam W fanfic in nearly six years), some sooner than others. So if something currently unfinished, it will eventually be finished. I make no promises as to WHEN, though. Oh yes, let's tack on NaNo to this, as well. Every November, fanfiction takes a back seat to my novel. Please don't worry, it's only for the month. Then I'll be back full force, okay! Thanks so much, people! Y'all are great! Another Note - I've decided to remove "Repentence" and "Romancing a Drone" due to the world's worse case of writer's block. Being unable to finish these stories, I have removed them indefinitely, and if, by some miracle I do finish them, I'll repost them. But until then, they'll remain archived on my computer. Sorry. Yet Another Note - For my story What it Means to be a Father I did research. I like to think that I'm not a sloppy fanfiction writing, i.e. make factual mistakes regarding a series. In "Not as Cute as Pushkin," Luke states that his father died fifteen years ago - and I'm assuming that series ran in pseudo-real time meaning that the year in the show is the same in real life as well. Luke states at one point that he's been paying for the space in Mrs. Thompson's garage for 15 years, and his father paid for 20 years before that. Now if that's any indication to what year Luke's father died, it would have been fifteen years before November 30, 2004 -- November 30, 1989. The fic is set in 1999 - so the previous November (1998) was the 9 year anniversary of the death of Luke's father. Hey, I'm just working with the info that ASP gave us in the episode. | |||||||||
