Author has written 1 story for Twilight.

Don't let my nationality keep you from reading my story;

By this point, excessive exposure to the English language at work, school and through Internet, books, movies and TV-shows has resulted in this odd creature that is me. About a third of my spoken words come out in non-native for some reason (to the great annoyance of my friends and boyfriend) and I have actually...ehm, been known to dream in English on occasion. Run you fools! ;)

Anyway...

My blog (in Swedish.. or should I say Swedish/English, hehe)

My day persona tries to save the world (no?) - I'm a Ph.d student within the renewable energy field - while my night persona wishes she lived in a different world altogether - one where yummy supernatural hunks will land on my doorstep and sweep me off my feet (just kidding boyfriend, if you're reading this! ;) )

I'm 27-years old, female and currently seriously into vampires or any form of paranormal romance (Twilight, Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood, Vampire Academy, House of Night, Cassandra Palmer etc). If you have and good reading tips, let me know, please!

Concerning fanfiction:

I never want to relive all those years I survived without fanfiction as I've completely fallen in love with it - I may even be a wee bit obsessed. ;) To some extent I believe the more well-written fanfics even top the original fiction and I love that I don't have to give characters up! It truly is a great use of internet and all that untapped writing-talent laying around. ;)

Twilight was my first fanfiction addiction (that world's really difficult to escape from once you've been sucked in!) but for a while now I've been mostly hooked on the vast collection of Harry Potter fics - the sheer amount of which are a treasure in itself. :)

LIKES:
x Non-canon pairing - if any, it's a definite must!
x M-rating - I'm not overly kinky, but I want the whole spectra of the story and no unnecessary blockages (might also be my Swedish heritage acting up at the mere thought of censorship!)
x Adventure centered romances - especially when the relationship itself form the base to solve the mystery/overcome the bad guys/whatever
x Lengthy fics - when well developed and decently paced
x Harry Potter Slash - the female characters are just not as interesting.

DISLIKES:
x Non-plausible OOC - if you want a completely different character, why slaughter an existing one? (plausible changes, hidden depths and character developments are lovely however)
x Instant romance development - not believable (instant lust though...)
x Unbalanced Fluff - absolutely ruins a story for me; it all feels like 'no, you're the cutest', 'no you are'...Yuck.;)
x Excessive Blushing - I mean, come on! There are other ways to convey your characters' emotions.
x Pregnancy - especially in fluff settings - it's impossible to take "it's our love child" or "he could not wait to see her/him glowing with a rounded stomach" seriously. Angsty pregnancies can work though.
x WEAK effeminate male lead characters - if you want the blushing bride, why not cast a girl? Even more disturbing, why would you want to portray femininity as being weak, scared and unable to handle anything yourself? (I'm not dissing sub/dom-dynamics here, just the bastardization of them).

About my story:

"The Third Awakening" is pretty much planned out in the general scope, so I know where I'm heading just not exactly how to get there. =)

I'm aiming for lots of plot twists, tension and build-up romance, emotions (duh!), lust and danger. Sound good? In my everyday life I'm often more intrigued with the cause rather than the effect and most of all the correlation between the two - so I guess you can expect that to seep through in my writing as well. ;)

Personal issues have kept me from writing for a while now but I expect that will change in the near future.

So if you're patiently waiting, don't ditch me yet.

Reviewing might speed me up! ;)
