HEY! I just took down my old poll (about gender-swapped Glee), so here's a new one you can vote on :D. By the way, the majority of you seemed to either be in favor of or okay with gender swapping, though I had one hold out who was firmly in the "no way!" category.

Hair: Blond, short - about the length that Quinn's was when she first cut it (my friends actually said I got a 'Quinn cut' when I dramatically chopped off ten inches of my hair a few months back)

Eyes: Green

Skin tone: Strangely pale for California :(. As Chris Colfer has said, "I don't tan; I freckle and burn." Though I will say I'm not as pale as Chris.

Info: HI! You can call me Katie. I'm a blondie, both in terms of my natural hair color and my occasional dumb moments ;). I am attracted to women, but I hesitate to label myself - in any case, I'm closeted in real life, out on the net. People say I'm bubbly, nice and I laugh a lot. That's just the type of person I am.

I love love and I hate hate. I like winky faces ;).

I have never once flamed, and I've never felt the need to. When I don't like a story, I click the back button. I have a hard time being mean to people; it's just not in my nature, and I pretty much CAN'T do it. When I used to play soccer, I would apologize whenever I kicked the ball away from someone. No joke. I can dislike someone so much, and still not be able to talk rudely about them or to them. If I flamed someone, I'd probably cry, and send a message quickly after apologizing profusely, and if I didn't, it would eat me up inside until I did. My mom gets annoyed at me, because ever since I was little, if I was ever in a fight with a friend, I'd be the first to shove down my stupid pride and apologize, even if, looking back, I had a perfectly justified reason to be mad. She says I need a backbone. I disagree; I have a backbone, because I will stand up for what I believe in, I'm just not mean to others for no good reason.

I am positively in love with Dianna Agron. She is a perfect human being in every way possible. I also love Lea Michele. Her voice is a gift from the gods. And we can't forget CHRIS COLFER, who is quite possibly a demigod. (I MET HIM!! TWICE!!!)

I. CANNOT. STAND. FEET. Seriously, it's a problem. The only ones I can stand are my own. I think putting your feet near me is one of the only ways to make me really mad. No guests are allowed to put their feet on any of the funiture (beds, couches, chairs), and I screamed the last time someone poked me with their foot. And they were wearing shoes. I wish I was kidding. T_T

I have an adorable dog who is staring at me and begging for attention as I type this. Or just begging for my food. She does that. I have 2 cats - one grumpy but very pretty, and affectionate when he wants to be, and the other hilariously dumb. I love animals :). I'm actually a vegan, though I promise, I won;t guilt you if you love bacon ;). When I'm older, I plan to also own many birds, as I have a passion for them, but my parents won't let me have any (and trust me; I've begged).

I am attached at the ear to my iPod. I'll listen to almost anything - if I have it on shuffle, my iPod can go from Who Are You When I'm Not Looking by Blake Shelton, to Scars by Papa Roach, to La Vie Boheme from RENT, to Piano Man by Billy Joel, to Rose's Turn by Chris Colfer/Kurt Hummel from Glee (the song that made me truly fall in love with him), to Apathetic Way to Be by Reliant K, to Cell Block Tango from Chicago, to Creepshow by Kerli, to Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles, I Kissed a Girl by Katy Perry, to For Good from Wicked, to Monster by Skillet, to Halo/Walking On Sunshine from Glee (that note Lea hits at the end - just, oh my gods), to Happy Things by J Rabbit (adorable song, I highly suggest searching it on YouTube). I am a Spirk fan who respects Uhura! She is a great, strong female lead, and during TOS times one of the only women cast in as an intelligent lead female with high-ranking, respectable profession, and probably the only African American one. It upsets me to see how in many Spirk fics, specifically for Star Trek:IX, she is reduced to simply the role of 'the jealous (ex)girlfriend' or 'the bitch'. I feel she is a complex, dynamic character that deserves more respect than that. I will not read/favorite/review fics that have senseless Uhura bashing, simply because she is with Spock in the movie, and I myself will not disrespect her in my fan fiction. Be more mature guys!

Pairings I support/ship (in no particular order):

Glee: KLAINE! FABERRY! KURTBASTIAN! Kurt/pretty much anyone accept Mr. Schue, Sandy Ryerson, and the like (because I have never and will never support pedophilia in any form) - I like some Kurt pairings more than others (specifically I am really rather fond and Puckurt, but am rather uncomfortable with Kinn, unless it's written really well - I love brotherly Furt bonding for those two, though!). I positively ADORE Hummelberry friendship, and love the idea of Kuinn friendship, though that's not really explored on the show. Also, other than Hummelberry, the Unholy Trinity is my BroTP. I also like - Puck/Quinn, Puck/Rachel, Puck/Happiness, Quinndependance, Mike/Tina, Artie/Tina, Sam/Mercedes. And pretty much most Glee pairings I'm cool with.

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things, like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction, and air conditioning.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.
