I'm a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. My major was sequential art, which is just a fancy way of saying comics. Sequential art also includes storyboards and character design. College is where I discovered manga and actually watched anime. I did watch Sailor Moon, Tenchi Muyo, and Big O growing up, but I didn't really seek out animes until college. I still don't watch as much anime as I read manga. I'm a Bible-believing Christian, so I try to keep my fictions as clean as possible. I also believe in happy endings, so no tragedies here! My favorite authors are Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, Louisa May Alcott, L.M. Montgomery, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Catherine Palmer, Robert Louis Stevenson, Robert Burns (poet), and Lloyd Alexander. My favorite manga artists/authors are Mitsuru Adachi, Takahashi Rumiko, Nakamura Yoshiki, Takayama Shinobu, (love his art)! and Gosho Aoyama. My favorite mangas/manhwas/manhuas are "Ranma 1/2" (Possibly my absolute favorite), "Hana Yori Dango" (Boys Over Flowers), "Inuyasha", "Detective Conan" (Case Closed), "Rough", "Skip Beat" (my second favorite), "Tokyo Crazy Paradise", "Appare Jinpagu", "Oishii Study", "Maison Ikkoku", "One Pound Gospel", "Shipwrecked", "Bride of the Water God", "Goong", "I Wish", "Gokusen", "Chikyuu Kanrinin", "Real Fake Princess", "One Piece," and "Saiunkoku Monogatari" (gorgeous art)! Honorable mention: "Bleach" and "Naruto." Used to love 'em but, they've gotten so boring! The stories are going nowhere! My favorite comic books are "The Spirit" by Will Eisner (the new ones, too), "Archie", "The Lone Ranger", "The Escapist", "American Born Chinese", "Pyongyang", and "The Re-Gifters." My favorite sequential artists are Will Eisner, Frank Cho, Neal Adams, and Tim Sale. I also read a few webcomics: "Lackadaisy Cats", "Sheldon", "The Dreamer", and "Girls Next Door" by Pika-la-Cynique (on Deviantart). Some of my favorite fine artists: Rembrant, Norman Rockwell, Leonardo Da Vinci, Thomas Gainsborough, Frederic Leighton, Degas, and Raphael. Music is something else I really like. From classical to contemporary. I don't listen to a lot of pop. When it comes to contemporary stuff, it's usually Christian.
