Basic Things to Know about me:

As of 2012, I am a 38 year old, mother of a teen. I work, work, work. For fun, I love to read!! I am a book whore with the amazon purchase history to prove it. I also build dollhouses which is a lot of fun but challenging. Everyone I know says I have the best sense of humor. I love to laugh and joke and rarely take anything too seriously.

Books:

The Red Garden – Alice Hoffman – This is an amazing book and currently my favorite. Of course as much as I read, my favorite changes often. Regardless, I HIGHLY recommend this book.

Twilight Series – Stephenie Meyer – this was a no-brainer. I could never put into words my feeling and opinions on these books. They have had a direct effect on my life. I gained lifelong friends because of her books and these friends gave me the courage and determination to completely change my life 2 years ago. I have so many fond memories that directly relate back to her books. I love Stephenie Meyer’s world!

TV: I don’t watch TV very often. When I do, I tend to watch History and Science Channel. The only time I regularly tune into a show is for The Walking Dead. I am addicted to this series! If there is a hip, new show that people are talking about – Glee, American Idol, etc. – I haven’t ever seen it and have no interest. The Walking Dead is the first regular show I have watched on TV since the 90210 kids graduated from West Beverly back in 93. I can tell you that I absolutely LOATH reality TV and since that is what every other show is these days, I just stay away.

Links: I love to laugh. And I especially love to laugh at myself. Believe me when I say that because of my Twilight obsession, I have plenty to laugh about these days. My obsession just doesn’t make sense for a 38 year old mom. Along the way I have found a couple of blogs that have allowed me to feel NORMAL about this obsession, where I have met other women with the same interests and the same endearing quality that allows them to laugh at themselves as well. FanFic Preferences: Twilight Only

I only read Bella and Edward pairings. I do enjoy having Jasper as an additional love interest/involved in a love triangle with Bella and Edward. But I need her to always end up with Edward in the end.
