Hey, this is Lei Dumbledore. I decided to change my penname because I've had that one for a long time and am on a lord of the rings trip right now and love how my names sound in Elvish. So for those of you who knew me from Harry Potter fanfiction this is Lei Dumbledore.

I regret to say that A Slightly Different Beginning has been put on hiatus. Most of you that are familiar with my works know that I write when I'm inspired and when I have time. Unfortunately those have been shortcoming these last few months. My muse that has sustained me for all of my completed stories has taken a vacation it seems. I just have no more inspiration and am stuck in a rut. I just graduated from school a month ago and have been ever since trying to find a job and move to Orlando, Florida. Because I've been staying with my brother and his family I've been very busy helping out during the day and trying to find a job and an apartment. This leaves me no time or energy to sit down and write. So to all of those who have been so kindly reviewing even now that I haven't updated in a long time I'm sorry and I will try and make it up you guys somehow. Again I'm so sorry but life tends to get in the way of writing.


Well anyways, my name is Laura Leilani Macomber but I prefer to be called Lei because it's a nickname of my middle name that I prefer to my oh-so-boring first name.

I'm 6' tall, golden blonde hair and blue/grey eyes. my fave colors are every shade of blue but midnight blue is my fave out of the blues and pink and green. That's just the general stuff about me.
Oh and I'm a Slytherin with a few Gryffindor traits so watch it ;-)

I'm a 23 year old Senior Opera and Theatre double major at Shenandoah Conservatory in Virginia in the USA.

I am a massive Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings Fan. I love the books and movies as separate entities though, but to put it simply they are all brilliant. I could go on for literally days how much I love the movies and books and comparisons and so forth but I won't here. If anybody sincerely wants to talk to me about anything book or movie related for these things then feel free to leave me a review with your email and I'll possibly contact you. But I warn that I am in the process of re-reading the lotr series because I haven't read it in over 10 years.

Oh and I got to meet Alan Rickman while he was starring as Elyot Chase in "Private Lives" on Broadway that won the Tony award for Best Revival of a Play in 2002 the day before it closed for good on Broadway. Alan himself was nominated for a Tony, but had it cruely stolen away. But I got my picture taken with him and he autographed my playbill. So go ahead and fall all over yourself in jealousy because I got to meet him in the flesh and boy is he sweet and nice! But then again I also had to sit in a car for 4 hours driving from my College in Virginia to New York City and deal with New York drivers! But it was well worth it to be able to see Alan!!!!!!
