Author has written 1 story for Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The Guide also has this to say about froodiness: Being really amazing and together in general. Can be used as both a noun (frood) or adjective (froody), so comes the saying: "Hey, you sass that hoopy Ford Prefect? Now there's a frood who really knows where his towel is." As a loyal and froody Hitchhiker's fan, I know where my towel is. On a less humorous, but wholly more important note, hello! Obviously if you're taking the time to read this, you'll have read my fiction on The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I am (quite obviously) a fan of Douglas Adams, who was the greatest comedy writer of the twentieth century, and I feel quite ashamed that I have only endeavoured to write one piece in his tribute. I myself am a writer and student, and spend much of my spare time and holidays sitting at my computer and typing up massive drafts. My current work, The Hunt, is looking like it's going to be a bulky thing indeed, about 80,000 words in total, with almost a quarter of the work completely finalised. I eventually hope to put at least one book on the shelves before I die (and I've got an awfully long time to do so... at least, I hope I do). To all those aspiring writers out there, I can only say "Solid Effort". Writing is hard, painful, and requires a lot more time and planning than you think. Anyone who has success in the world of writing clearly has talent... or very good connections. So to all you writers out there, so long, good luck, and thanks for all the fish. | |||||||
