Author has written 16 stories for Twilight. I am a mature lady that has raised my 3 children as a single mom. And am proud of the way they matured with their choices of life partners, career and parenthood. Raising children by yourself is not easy and at the time along with working a full time job, going thru a divorce and battling insomnia, I found an outlet in writing. The good Lord blessed me with success in that area with the publishing of 3 books. It was with the profit that I was able to put money back to pay for each of their college education and then to have finances for starting their own businesses. I have always loved to write, but, does have a way of catching up with you. I did eventually remarry after my children moved away and was happily married for over 20 years before I lost my husband to cancer. But, between us, we had a large family. He had 7 kids from a prior marriage; I had 3 from my prior marriage; and with all combined we had 10 kids, 35 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren before he passed away. I discovered Twilight and it has really helped me thru the had times after my husband's passing. And now I am starting to get back to my writing and doing a lot of reading. 6/16/12 With the group of individuals that believe they have the right to infringe on the rights of others to dictate what is readable and what isn't, especially since we do have laws against censorship, I will be posting all of my stories on both FanFiction and TWCS. I will be use the same pen name as here. So, if I do get hit for voicing my opinion you will be able to find my stories on another site. I sincerely than each and everyone of you who have read then reviewed my stories. Even the individuals that read and do an alert of some nature. And, the ones that read, but, do nothing except enjoy reading. Each and everyone of are appreciated beyond measure as it gives a writer joy to be able to share their imagined ideas with others who will enjoy the concepts as well. Copy and paste this onto your profile if you promise to do the same 7/11/12 I wanted to take this moment to let everyone know that I am running a little behind with doing my updates on all of the WIP due to the surgery done on my left eye on 7/9/12. It has slowed me down slightly, but, I must say that my vision is returning to a standard that I haven't experienced for the last several years and it is wonderful. Thank you for your patience and understand over the last several weeks while my eyes were being repaired. At this time I would like to announce that I have acquired an awesome beta who is viewing all of my work, both completed and WIP's, along with all of my new updates. Dowlingnana is doing a fantastic job and I am happy that she has agreed to take on the job of clearing up my mistakes. 11/11/12 I do realize that I have slowed down a bit on my updating schedule. So many factors have contributed to this. Of course, I had sugery on both of my eyes and had to have time to heal while still trying to update. In September, laser surgery was done on my right eye to help improve the vision since that was the one eye that I was totally blind in. You can add that some friends needed some help with things going wrong in their lives and I felt like I needed to be there for them when it was necessary. But, the final reason was that I realized that my stories were dictating to me and it was taking the creativity away as well as the pleasure I received from writing. With that being the case I needed to slow down a bit to be able to give forth material to be enjoyed from all sides. I know someone of you might not be happy hearing this, but, the truth is what it is. Nothing more or less. Each and every one of my stories deserve to be finished because they are important enough to me to share and hopefully bring a bit of escape to you, the people that read them. I do believe that if something is worth starting then it is worth finishing, but, I can definitely promise that it will not be months in between updates. More like two weeks if not sooner. At least, that is my goal. Thanks to each and everyone of you who read, alert, favor and review. It means a lot to me always. | |||||||
