Author has written 12 stories for Wallander, House, M.D., and Martin Beck series.

I'm female, old enough to know better, and am obsessed with all things Norse and Scandinavian. I love to write and enjoy travelling in Europe, learning languages and finding out about other cultures. Ola Rapace makes me very happy indeed, and I'm head over heels with the wonderful Krister Henriksson.

Current obsessions include:
*Wallander (the books and the Swedish TV series with Krister Henriksson)
*Næturvaktin (The Night Shift, an awesome Icelandic comedy series)
*Also Dagvaktin (The Day Shift) which was the follow-up series
*The Martin Beck series by Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö
*Lewis, Inspector Morse and Endeavour
*The Reykjavík Murder Mysteries by Arnaldur Indriðason
*The Mentalist
*House
*Scandinavia and the World

I enjoy reading older literature like the Odyssey and the Icelandic Sagas, but am also hugely into crime fiction from Agatha Christie to Henning Mankell and Håkan Nesser. Henning Mankell is probably responsible for me not taking a nervous breakdown during 2010, but that's a story for another day...

I'm really enjoying reading Lewis fics at the moment and one day I'd like to write something for this fandom. Also, I think Endeavour is fantastic. Shaun Evans is a very good actor and his portrayal of young Morse is very compelling. I think John Thaw would have approved.

My writing was on hiatus for a long time, as real life has an irritating way of stopping you doing what you really want to do, but I've decided to make more of an effort to get it back on track. Currently the plot bunnies have got the better of me and I'm working on five stories: the ongoing stories The Assignment and We Are Each Other, a short story that may or may not end up here, the Martin Beck fic The Men From Stockholm and an attempt at a crossover between Wallander, The Night Shift and the Reykjavik murder mysteries. No, I'm not joking. Yes, I need to invest in some plot bunny pest control XD

Comments and reviews are greatly appreciated. I'd be very interested to hear from other Wallander fans! :)
