Warriors Orochi: Rise of Kirshun Primary Characters Pànduàn Shén - A powerful warrior and sorcerer who was revealed to be a Master-in-training. His family and village were destroyed long ago when he was five years old by Kirshun the Souless One. He prefers the name Pànduàn instead of Lord Shén or any other formal title. (First Appearance - Mysterious Stranger, WO: DoJ) Himiko - The one who brought Orochi back from the grave, she has since defected from her past life and has joined Pànduàn in his quest to defeat Kirshun and prevent him from achieving whatever goal he has planned. (First Appearance - Mysterious Stranger, WO: DoJ) Hēiàn Kirshun - The archenemy of the Pànduàn family and the murderer of the entire family except the heir to the patriarch to the family, Pànduàn Shén. He sold his soul for great power; most scene in his enhanced strength, speed, and sorcery. While it is well known he wants to kill Pànduàn, his exact intentions for his return are far from clear. (First Appearance - Kirshun, the Souless One, WO: DoJ) Main Characters (Crossovers) Uzumaki Naruto - A ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village and the container of the Kyuubi no Kitsune. He along with his team mate and sensei somehow end up in the Warriors Orochi world. (First appearance - The Arrival, WO: SoF) Haruno Sakura - A medical-nin of the Hidden Leaf Village and team mate of Naruto. She along with Naruto and her sensei somehow end up in the Warriors Orochi world. (First appearance - The Arrival, WO: SoF) Hatake Kakashi - A jounin of the Hidden Leaf Village and the sensei of Naruto and Sakura. He along with his students somehow end up in the Warriors Orochi world. (First appearance - The Arrival, WO: SoF) Secondary Characters Zhìhuì Fǎshī - Mentioned many times throughout the story, Master Fǎshī is a powerful, wise old man whose training nearly killed Pànduàn on more than one occasion while he was training under him. He is a Master and is training Pànduàn to become one as well, but why he retrieved Pànduàn to raise him is still unknown. He recently made his first physical appearence in the story at the end of Chapter 20 to reveal the secret of Kirshun's growing power. (First Appearance - *Flashback* Camp on the Border, WO: DoJ) Sun Ce - The crown prince of Wu, oldest son of Lord Sun Jian, and older sibling to Sun Quan and Sun Shang Xiang. He met Pànduàn and Himiko outside the gates of He Fei and was the commander of the forces there during the Battle of He Fei. Hotheaded and stubborn but he is still a powerful fighter. (First Appearance - He Fei, WO: DoJ) Sun Quan - The second son of Sun Jian and younger brother to Sun Ce. He provided reinforcements at the Battle for He Fei and helped change the tide of the battle. (First Appearance - The Wu Brothers, WO: DoJ) Da Qiao - The wife of Sun Ce and sister to Xiao Qiao. She was rescued in He Fei by Pànduàn when he and her husband came with a band of warriors to save her from an Odigan ambush. She often keeps her husband in check if he gets a little hotheaded or foolish. (First Appearance - Rescue Da Qiao!, WO: DoJ) Liu Bei - The emperor of Shu and husband to Sun Shang Xiang. He was the first to inquire as to why Kirshun was hunting Pànduàn. He is known as the Champion of Virtue. (First Appearance - Lord Liu Bei, WO: DoJ) Zhuge Liang - Also known as the 'Sleeping Dragon' or the 'divinely-inspired strategiest', he is widely considered to be the most briliant strategiest of the Three Kingdoms era. He is Liu Bei chief advisor and strategist. (First Appearance - Lord Liu Bei, WO: DoJ) Yue Ying - The wife of Zhuge Liang and a briliant tactician. She is always calm, cool, and collected, even in the midst of a fight. (First Appearance - Lord Liu Bei, WO: DoJ) Sun Shang Xiang - Youngest of the three main siblings of Wu and wife to Liu Bei. She a strong, young fighter who loves to fight by his side almost as much as she loves him as a person. She is always ready to 'out-shine' anyone on the battlefield. (First Appearance - Lord Liu Bei, WO: DoJ) Guan Yu - The leader of Shu's famous Five Tiger Generals. A power fighter who was said to have defeat 10,000 men with a single swing of his mighty Blue Dragon. He is one of Liu Bei's two sworn brothers, the other being Zhang Fei. (First Appearance - Lord Liu Bei, WO: DoJ) Zhang Fei - The second of Shu's famous Five Tiger Generals. He was said to have driven back a million men at the Battle of Chang Ban with a powerful roar. He is one of Liu Bei's two sworn brothers, the other being Guan Yu. (First Appearance - Shu Skirmish, WO: DoJ) Minor Characters Tou Yang - The young Shu soldier who somehow was chosen to be Pànduàn's decoy on the journey to Nagasaki to aid Takeda Shingen. He has a strong dislike for Himiko due to his older brother being killed in the battle against Orochi. (First Appearance - Split Roads: Land and Sea, WO: DoJ) Captain Yiang Sin - A captain in the Shu army who alerted Liu Bei to the Odigan blockade on the road to Nagasaki. (First appearance - Split Roads: The Long Path, WO: DoJ) Words of Interest Master - A master at the use of pure magic in sorcery. Only someone who is born with a strong connection to magical energies may become one. Ikiryō - Literally meaning 'wraith' in Japanese, Ikiryō are a powerful necromancy summon with power equal to that of a Master. If you are capable of summoning one you are considered a master necromancer. Cūnzhǔ - The self-sustaining village ruled over by Pànduàn's family. It was destroyed sixteen years before the beginning of the events of Warriors Orochi: Dragon of Judgment by a duel between Kirshun and Pànduàn. Trivia 1. So far, only Liu Bei and Kirshun have had chapters named directly after them. 2. Pànduàn's name literally means 'Judge God'. 3. Kirshun's family name, Hēiàn, literally means 'Dark'. 4. Kirshun and Pànduàn switched weapons during their battle in Cūnzhǔ. Kirshun was and still is using the Pànduàn family weapon, Juggernaut, while Pànduàn is using Kirshun's sword, Black Phantom. 5. The flashback of the start of Pànduàn and Kirshun's duel in Cūnzhǔ is used more often than any other flashback in the story thus far. 6. The design for the Ikiryō was largely based of the Ringwraiths from J.R.R Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. 7. Chapter 19 of Warriors Orochi: Dragon of Judgment is the only chapter thus far in the series that Pànduàn doesn't make an actual appearance but is only mentioned. 8. Chapter 20 of Warriors Orochi: Dragon of Judgment is the only chapter thus far in the series that Himiko doesn't make an actual appearance but is only mentioned. 9. Chapter 20 of Warriors Orochi: Dragon of Judgment is the only chapter thus far in which Master Zhìhuì Fǎshī makes an appearance other than in a flashback. 10. Chapter 21 of Warriors Orochi: Dragon of Judgment is the first time we see Kirshun interacting with his men other than ordering them around during a siege. 11. The life Kirshun lead before becoming leader of the original group of Rebels is revealed in Chapter 22 of Warriors Orochi: Dragon of Judgment. 12. A majority of the Berserkers appearances and weaponry is inspiration from the Uruk-hai Berserkers from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. 13. Kirshun's power is shown to have definately been grown due to the fact that he was single handedly able to defeat Pànduàn, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei and to use sorcery to knock back an army of over 1,000 including several powerful officers. 14. Himiko is the only other person in the main storyline other than Pànduàn to engaged Kirshun directly. 15. Kirshun was once the Commander of Security Forces in Pànduàn's home village of Cūnzhǔ. 16. Cūnzhǔ was a well isolated village that few could get to, that's why being able to sustain itself was very important for it to survive. 17. The bridges that the same company crossed on their way to Cūnzhǔ were over 400 years old. 18. Cūnzhǔ's population at that time it was ruled by Pànduàn's father was about 3,950. 19. The explosion caused by the unleashed of power Pànduàn made to defeat Kirshun had the same amount of power as three World War II main battleship guns. 20. When Pànduàn first explains to about the duel between himself and Kirshun, he doesn't know how he won. But when he explains it in Chapter 25 of Warriors Orochi: Dragon of Judgment, he does. However, the sight of his hometown might have jogged his memory enough to remember the duel clearly. 21. Zhìhuì Fǎshī became a fully-fledged Master at the age of 38 years old, the youngest fully-fledged Master before Pànduàn, who became a Master at the age of 21. 22. Master Fǎshī explains to Pànduàn that an Ikiryō is just as powerful as a Master. It is unknown whether or not he means 'In-Training' or 'Fully-Fledged' but due to the fact that Pànduàn defeats an Ikiryō before he becomes a 'Fully-Fledged' Master, it is likely an 'In-Training' Master. However, it could just be that Pànduàn is more powerful than the average Master. 23. More often than not Pànduàn uses sorcery that enhances his own speed and strength. In the Warriors Orochi 2 game, this type of sorcery is used on Da Ji by Himiko. 24. The spectral dragon that Pànduàn summons in Chapter 27 of Dragon of Judgment is very similar to how Kirshun summons an Ikiryō only an Ikiryō is a dark summon while the spectral dragon is a holy summon. 25. Chapter 28 of Dragon of Judgment has the most flashbacks of any chapter in Dragon of Judgment. 26. Kirshun is Souless but he still can display emotions and experiance pain, he is just more powerful than a normal human and cannot die by normal means. 27. As of the end of Dragon of Judgment, Pànduàn and Himiko have officially become a couple. 28. Shinobi of Fire is not canon to Dragon of Judgment or Rise of Kirshun but takes place between the two.
