Author has written 8 stories for Digimon, Beyblade, Yu-Gi-Oh, Fruits Basket, and Kingdom Hearts. You have been warned. I started writing fanfiction when I was fifteen and full of free time, crazy / idiotic ideas, and an ever growing anime obsession. Not much has changed, except my computer craps out a lot more often then it used to. One of these days I'm just going to have to splurge and get myself a laptop. When it comes to genres I like to play around with different things and vary the assortment. I like writing humor, but I don't consider myself highly competent in that particular area. I also like to write introspective one-shots and the general sort of stuff that can't really be classified into one category. A little of this, a little of that. On the bright side (at least I would like to consider it a bright side) I tend to shy away from writing anything that would be considered 'Literary' with a big, capital 'L'. Choice Obsessions Anime: FMA, Ouran High, Death Note, Fruits Basket, Trinity Blood, Yu-Gi-Oh, Serial Experiments Lain, Hikaru No Go, Gundam Wing, Witch Hunter Robin, .Hack//Sign, Haibane Renmei, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Heat Guy J, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, and a bunch of other anime I can't even recall at the moment. Games: I'm admittedly obsessed with Kingdom Hearts, I also like most of the Zelda games. Author's and Books I recommend: My reading list is extensive, so here's a short sampling. The Discworld series, LOTR, Harry Potter, The Dalemark Quartet, The Darklord of Derkholm, The Vampire Chronicles, The Shannara series, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (all five books), The Obsidian Trilogy and most of the Valdemar novels, Life of Pi, The Sparrow, The Di Vinci Code, The Earthsea Cycle (especially the first three books in the series), The Artemis Fowl series (Yes, I'm aware it is for kids), and anything by Issac Asimov, Anne Rice, or Margaret Atwood. I also like a lot of classics. In The Works: Right at the moment I'm working one fan fic in the KH fandom, Uncommon Ground. It is a multi-chaptered general/romance of the Akuroku variety, although there is going to be some Zemyx thrown in rather soon. I don't really want to start anything else until I'm done with writing the one I'm working on now, however I know how my plans to finish something before starting another project usually go. | |||||||||||||
