And welcome to my profile page! I’m Surf-merGirl: a pretty average individual, who spends all of her free time reading her Bible, daydreaming, reading/writing stories, listening to music, singing, practicing her instruments, drawing, sewing, baking, gushing over oldies bands/musicians, and surrounding herself with vintage things. I have an obsession with vintage pyrex (especially refrigerator dishes), Graham Nash, mermaid stories, the music group The Hollies, and vintage clothing. I am entirely convinced that if mermaids exited, I would be one. I hope one day to become a fashion designer and be a fiction writer in my free time. A special goal of mine is to get a book published one day and it is a goal soon coming I hope! Writing is one of the many loves of my life. I write all of the time. Everyday in fact: mystery, suspense, romance. Even when I don’t have a pen and paper, or even a computer at hand I’m constantly composing lines in my head. Especially when I’m really excited about a specific story, which is often. My favorite things to write are extremely complex plots and sometimes I'll purposefully alter a character's personality in order to get the effect I need (i.e. Prince Eric, King Dominick, etc). I draw a lot of inspiration from the music I listen to and am always coming up with new plots for new stories. Though a lot of my time has been busy (alas, it is the life of a college student), it doesn’t mean I don’t write on my stories here. I write on them almost frequently, it’s just finishing post-able chapters that gets difficult. Therefore, I’ve been trying to update at least one story a month now, since my schedule has gotten increasingly hectic. I apologize for any frustration that this may cause my readers.
