Author has written 33 stories for Twilight, Mortal Instruments, Hunger Games, Skinned Trilogy, Gemma Doyle Trilogy, and Incarceron series.

Hello, loyal citizens of Fanfiction! How do you do?

My name, or, a short form commonly used as my name...some call it a 'nick-name', I believe, is Mel.

What is my game, you ask? Why, reading and writing, of course, dear child!

I'm 16 years old, female...(I've never thought that I should have to put that, but I suppose there are some male 'Mel's in the world, are there not?)

I'm a born-again Christian. That's really important to me, just as important as my name, age, or gender, so I think I should put that on here too.

I mainly write for The Hunger Games, but I've also got some Mortal Instruments and Twilight stuff on here, along with some Skinned things. I'll probably post more, different things in the future, but for now, I'm mostly working on THG.

Find me here, and here. And send me a PM :D.

Guys! Please check outEveryone's Hero by -ForeverStartsTonight. I say this, because I am co-authoring that fic :). I'd appreciate feedback on the writing that is mine :). Thanks guys!

Below, you shall find a list of my fics, along with their status and a brief description.

The Truth: A post-Hunger Games, (in this story, Catching Fire never happened) story told mainly from Peeta's perspective. It starts out as a confrontation he has with Gale, speaking of...you guessed it! Katniss. But as it moves forward, Peeta's depression over the loss of Katniss in his life leads him to some tough decisions. Then Katniss re-enters his life, bringing a spark of happiness...and destruction. Who could be trying to kill Peeta? He must find out before it's too late! But when he does find out, it brings some serious repercussions for those he loves. Love, hate, the forest, the Capitol, and the whiff of a rebellion all combine in this story of the Hunger Games crew, and it's not over yet...
Also, I have great news guys!! The Truth is going to be translated into Russian! I feel famous :). I'll let you know when I get more details about its whereabouts, and time frame! IN-PROGRESS.

Wanting Later: Clove and Cato have never been close. In fact, they've been sworn enemies. But the Hunger Games brought them together in a way they would never expect. A four-shot, starting with the few brief moments Cato and Clove have together before the Feast, in Clove's POV. The next chapter follows up until Clove's death. The next two chapters are a retelling of the previous two, in Cato's POV. COMPLETE.

Pleading For Insanity: A continuation of Wanting Later. When Cato loses Clove, he also loses his sanity. He can't deal with the Games thinking Clove is dead, so he gets a little 'present' that helps him forget. Following Cato and his fight with his mind as he battles his way from Clove's death, to his own. IN-PROGRESS.

Haunting the Loser: There have been a lot of winners in the 75 years of the Hunger Games, but there have also been a lot of losers. In fact, if you asked the winners, they would probably count themselves amongst the dead. An epic-poetry story of nearly all the characters in the first two books, telling their POV on why they feel they lost the Games. Even if they didn't participate. IN-PROGRESS.

Katniss Is...: Katniss is something to every character in the books. From Peeta to President Snow, Katniss means something to all of them. Can that something be summed up in 15 words? Well I've attempted it. Another collection of poetry. IN-PROGRESS.

Watching: A oneshot of Gale's feelings as Katniss goes into the Feast. How could she give up her life, give up him, for that boy she just met? COMPLETE.

Joining the Pack: How did Peeta get into the Career Pack at the last minute? Did he use his words to sway over the vicious Careers, or did he use something else? A one-shot, but it has the potential to change into a little bit more, if I get the time. COMPLETE/PENDING.

You're Forgiven: Cecelia's first Hunger Games. The Hunger Games break so many hearts. Cecelia's heart breaks many times over, but she is never broken. She keeps loving. Her district partner, her brother, her friends, her family, her kills. The reasons and way she won. COMPLETE.

No Matter What: "Love is a scary thing. It makes monsters out of kittens, and kittens out of monsters. And apparently, it helps people who are going mad cling onto their last tiny semblance of sanity. That is what my love for Finnick is doing for me; keeping me sane. At least, a little bit of me. The part of me that will always love him, and the part of me that he will always love. In other words, the important part...'No matter what, I will always love you.'" Finnick/Annie. COMPLETE

Training: A potential fic, describing Clove's time before the Reaping, when she trained to be a Career. Clove-centric, with some Cato, but not any Cato romance, and a few other characters. I'll have a better description up once I decide for sure whether or not I'm going to write it. PENDING.

Say Goodbye: The Tributes, their families, the Reaping, the Justice Building, saying goodbye. How the 23 other tributes and their families felt when they had to say goodbye, possibly forever. All the tributes of the 74th Hunger Games POV's, except Katniss. Potential. PENDING.

Tunnica Farvlo: Title subject to change. I only named it that because that is the girl's name. Another Hunger Games. Would you be interested in me doing a submit-your-own-character fic, or just another Games? Either way, I want to post this girl's Games. PENDING

And now, my darling readers, I would like to part with you on this note:

April 1, 2011

I feel like a terrible person. I swear I will update The Truth eventually. I swear! I'm sorry, all my writing has been falling by the wayside because I've been so busy and stressed lately! I love you all for still wanting me to update.
